I have two littles in safesplash.... We have been at this facility for 2 years now. It recently changed ownership and have been extremely unhappy. I feel the teachers are not attentive at all. I am in a tots class with my son while my daughter swims. 90% of the time my daughter is sitting on the wall getting water splashed on her head. I could teach her this at home. The tots teacher is not very enthusiastic or looks like he enjoys being there. Sad because when my daughter was in the tots class she loved it. Feel the same passion is not present anymore. Will be looking at alternative options for my kids.

Overrated and they baby the kids. My daughters been there for two years and she still can't swim. They have these submerged platforms where the kids wait between one in one with instructors but all they do is fool around with each other in between and there is too much time in between kids and not enough time with instructors. They don't push the kids. They don't make them swim far enough and the second they struggle they help them. We're moving on.

This place was once a gem, but under the prior management. Our son was here as a 2-year-old in 2018-2019. The instructors were nearly all top notch, and he usually was able to get the same instructor for his regularly scheduled class. But over the last year, especially, this place has ceased to become the welcoming, customer-focused, and excellent place it used to be. The manager's default setting is disdain for his customers - never offering a greeting and suggests he does you a favor by talking with you. They cut costs to the bone in so many areas. Admittedly, we can manage without the lollipops for kids (no longer regularly stocked for cost reasons - these were DumDums, by the way - because "too many people were taking more than one"). But it's clearly affecting their instructor retention, as it seems always to be a lottery who will materialize to teach your kid - and only a few are empathetic and take a genuine interest is assessing where your kid is and offering an appropriate level of instruction. Overall, suggest avoiding.

My daughter was absolutely terrified of the pool when she could not cling to the wall, and I mean terrified, before coming to ripples. The staff INSTANTLY made her feel comfortable and encouraged to keep going and learn to swim safely. It took less than a year for her to be confident in swimming and even eventually jumping into the pool. I was so proud of her! Not sure if Mr. Ryan works there anymore but he was her favorite teacher! Such a great school, I'd recommend it to anyone, especially when other swim programs have failed.

I had my baby in swim classes close to my home at a different school, we LOVED it. I was hoping if I joined a school closer to a couple friends, they would join me so the kids could socialize together. I found ripples and signed up. I was immediately turned off by the fact that their policy is you need to drop before the first of the month or else you pay for the entire next month.... this is all fine and good... but my first class was going to be 2/5/23 so if I had a horrible experience on the first day, you automatically paid for 2 months regardless. In hindsight, I should have waited a week to start but I was excited to get the babies together. 2/5/23 was a Sunday. I received notice late Saturday that there had been excessive fecal matter events and a new type of swim diaper would be required in order to attend.... there was no way I could get this diaper before our first Sunday class.... and they said they wouldn't have any available for sale until early in the week. We automatically miss the first class bc I didn't want to travel all the way there to get turned away. I finally got my diaper later that week and it was a CHORE to get this thing on a 7month old. They are certainly great for accidents, but I knew I would not have the energy to get my baby into those things for a 30min class. Going forward... I just couldn't shake the ick I had from both their crappy drop rules and their literally crappy pool water... so I just decided to eat the 2 months I paid before ever even being able to try the school. Im happy with the swim school I am with now, its my own fault for trying to deviate.

My son started at ripples swim school at four months old, and has improved his confidence in the water over the last six months. It’s been really fun to watch him develop in the water. They have an amazing staff, and the place is always very clean.

We have had an excellent experience at Ripples! The facility is great and my son’s teacher is fantastic. We started in the TOTS class with a kiddo who hated the water. Now, he is an independent little fish who looks forward to going to swim class. Thank you, Ripples!

Keep a close eye on your child!! My 3-year-oldnearly drowned right next to his instructor who was talking with another instructor while my son sank to the bottom of the pool. I banged against the glass but the instructor just looked confused like he had forgotten that my son was even supposed to be there. My son had inhaled a lot of water and was monitored closely at the hospital. The owner of ripples took little to no responsibility. There were so many instructors in the pool but my 5-year-old daughter and I were the only ones who noticed that my son had slipped of the dock into deep water. I wanted to view the pool security camera after the accident but the owner made excuses and wouldn’t let me see the footage. Even before the accident I had noticed that the instructors are distracted, there is a lot of staff turnover, and the parents are too far away from the children if something goes wrong. My son nearly drowned in front of his sisters eyes and ripples ran business as usual.

Well run facility to teach young children how to swim. Various types of classes are available based on the age of your child. Mostly young adults doing the classes. Parents can view their child doing the classes behind glass windows or from a viewing room.

The staff is very good with the little kids. My daughter loves going to swim class. The teacher to student ratio is very good too.

A fantastic place. Warm, friendly and welcoming. Great people who love kids. My son runs to the teacher with open arms and can't wait to get into the pool. They are the best in the business and know what they're doing. The student to teacher ratio is outstanding and they care about helping kids learn how to swim safely. I highly recommend ripples to anyone who asks!!
