Constantly out of stock on items particularly in the produce department. Meat department has been closed down. All meat is prepackaged and not cut in store. Prices overall are consistently higher than what you will pay at Market Basket, Shaws, and Shores market. Never have humans at the register, forcing you to use self check out. This never seems to work properly and takes jobs away from people who may need them. I would avoid, unless absolutely necessary.

Experienced a problem with writing a check, telechex, no problem, my bank, no problem, Stop & Shop 800 customer service, problem. 3 calls to them while at service desk constantly being routed to wrong department. Managers gave me groceries from free due to inconvenience dealing with corporate. Stellar employees at the Bristol location.

Mean, older lady at self-checkout tonight. Next time I leave groceries right there and walk out. You don’t snap at the stores customers asking for help because you’re overwhelmed! Embarrassing.

Prices are outrageous! Nothing pisses me off more than placing an online delivery, asking the staff delivering the order to your car is there anything missing? Guaranteed whatever is missing on the invoice is on the dn shelf in the store like my last order..I was sssoooo mad. After having to go in the store and find what was "out of stock" on the shelf. I am disabled and it is VERY difficult for me to walk any length of time. You have no idea how mad I am right now considering I've had to do this for the 4 the time. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR STAFF???? One of the reasons I stay away from Stop and Shop!

I love this stop & shop!! Only complaint would be your deli workers are slicing way too thick for your Grab N Go section. Instead of moving the slicer back and forth more times they are setting their slicers to slice thick so they can hit that weight faster with less work. I normally wouldn't mind but I'm not a caveman...

Yay! It's a market! Kidding aside, they have a wide selection of food items. I'm surprised by the variety. Local produce too! Yaz queen! Shop on!

It's a Stop & Shop. One of the cleaner ones, ample parking, but at the end of the day, it's nothing too special or too different from all the other locations near you in the Ocean State.

What’s with the older produce? And why is the reduced produce almost compost?

I shop here all the time because it's close, I went there last night and did my normal shopping, but I fo back this morning to grab a couple things I forgot and they ask if I want a bag, but tell me it's going to cost money. It didn't cost money last night and they already got rid of plastic bags, which I get. Now you're going to charge me for paper bags? So you're adding a fee to shop at your store? I will not come back unless this changes, I will drive twice as far just on principal alone to go shopping because this is absolutely ridiculous, and pathetic in every way.

Good location and competitive prices like other S&S stores. Service was good.

Don't shop here often, usually only to stock up on sale items or desperately needed last minute needs. This week's sale was a stock up!We went mid afternoon on a rainy Sunday. We purchased some items from the deli which had a couple of people waiting and a couple of people working! Very little wait time! I then went to seafood area for the frozen shrimp that was on sale and there was plenty in stock. Not so for the T-bones, we asked a meat dept worker where they were, he "pointed"..we didn't see any or even a sign promoting them. I turned back to the worker & he was gone. I guess I'll try later in the week..I also forgot the chicken! That's all we wanted and headed to check out where we found registers staffed by people! It was the stores first day of charging for paper bags? What's that all about? I don't care about the dime,, but is the economy so bad that Stop n Shop need to recover the cost of doing business?
