About Charlestown Chamber-Commerce
The Charlestown Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization comprising several hundred businesses, non-profit, and associate members. Its mission is to facilitate and ensure the success and growth of the local business community through networking and regional tourism promotion. The organization hosts the annual Charlestown Seafood Festival, a three-day gastronomic extravaganza showcasing Rhode Island's best seafood, live entertainment, a carnival, classic car show, arts and crafts, and a kid's zone. The festival is praised for its exceptional food, particularly the crab cakes, and for its convenient amenities, such as ATMs and cash-only vendors. Visitors from near and far eagerly await the festival's return each year.
