“Been here a few times. The mechanics take time to fully explain what’s going on and don’t make it too complicated, So you can leave feeling confident about your decision. They do good work, I had Some misfire codes popping up on the dash they identified the issue being the spark plugs gave me a rundown of how and why it happened and worked with my budget to get done what was necessary and not tack on anything extra for the sake of it”
“I brought my Volkswagen Tiguan to Mr. Gurney at Island Woods Auto with the impression that I had severe engine damage, and may likely have to sell it to a salvage yard.
After extensively researching the issue, he was able to diagnose the source of the problem, receive the necessary part, and install it, in time for me to be able to pick up the vehicle that same day before he closed.
Now it runs better than it did before it broke down in the first place.

“I have been going to D&B for a few years now and I am so happy to have found someone I can truly trust. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The women at the front desk are wonderful to speak with and they take the time to explain the issues and how they will be resolved. The work rate is extremely fair and they do their best to get you the lowest prices, especially if you are not in a rush. The mechanics are friendly and speak with you about your vehicle in a way you can understand. I have never had an issue with them telling me I need to fix things that don’t need to be fixed. They will let you know if they see any upcoming issues and keep you aware of regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc) with out pushing you to do the work with them.
I would absolutely recommend D&B to anyone in the area looking for a trustworthy place to service your vehicle.”
“This place is the best transmission shop that I have been to! The owners are hardworking caring people who genuinely want to help. I had an issue with my 2018 GMC Sierra, and the owner was able to take it in and let me know exactly what was going on. The communication was excellent, The service was unbelievable, and everything was done within a very short period. I spoke with one of their techs for a good 20 minutes afterwards, they provided me with a bunch of useful information and knowledge. If I could give the shop 10 more stars, they deserve it! “Took my truck in for front Hubs and to check the rearend, received a call before they started the work explained what the issue was. Told them to go ahead with the work, then received an update in the afternoon, that it wouldn’t be done that day. Ok with me. Called me at 7am the next morning that it was done.
