I just moved to RI and went in to open an account. Waited awhile and stood up to stretch. A blonde woman walked out of visiting in another office and said "we see you". When did people become so unkind? I left. The experience ruined my day and I will not bank at Citizens.

Been living in Coventry for 16 years and this is our go to bank. We have used the inside bankers, the counter and the drive thru. Walk up and drive up ATMs. Always have had friendly service. Plenty of parking.

Was trying to deposit a check today and instead of doing so the teller insisted I do it on my phone...i resisted because my phone is an antique and has trouble with these things. She insisted because she "loves to teach men how to do stuff like this". (?) Wow. Insulting.We tried and needless to say, my potato of a phone failed and we had to do it the way where they just take the check and process it...like why I came there instead of just doing it on my phone.I'm going to be moving my account to another bank as soon as it becomes possible.

Worst bank of all time. The mobile banking app is terrible Zelle doesn't work. I've been on the phone now 4-5 times. Currently on hold for 1 hour and nine minutes ls this their idea of customer service? I'm leaving Citizens Bank and moving my accounts to Capital One. I'm done.

I went there to cash a citizens check from the Narragansett Indian tribe and was told that they didn’t not recognize it as a real tribe and that just Bc google says “ it’s a federal Id and an official form of a government issued ID and the equivalent of a United States passport “ Does not mean it’s real. The manager was rude ignorant and disrespectful. She made me wait 20 minutes to speak with her just to send the new teller out to say she’s not gonna change her mind. Basically didn’t even listen to me the only person I got to speak with was a teller that just started working there. I normally cash my checks at a different branch and never have any issue occasionally I’m asked to show a second from of ID. The way the teller looked at my like I handed her a gym membership was embarrassing but expected I get it some people don’t know that Indian tribes are a real thing and federally recognized I don’t mind taking the time to explain but ignorance is no excuse to be disrespectful. The tribe is currently giveing all there members $2,000 stimulus checks and the bank that over a million in grant money is going through is citizens bank.

I withdrew $3,000 at the window. They shorted me $100.00. The woman at the window quickly give me the$ 100 and apologize for the mistake.

I went out of my way to go through a drive through branch and attempted to get a bankers check through the drive through. I have very young children who were crying and didn’t want to drag them into somewhere and expose to places or people they don’t need to be due to the pandemic. I was told it’s “easier” for them to do this in lobby, so I should come in. I went in lobby with my upset children masked up, and when I explained why I attempted the drive through in the first place. I was told they don’t like to do it because it “takes a minute” to print the check. There was no one behind me. I’m glad the company is so invested in the convenience of their employees, but this customer would have really appreciated a little warmer customer service or at very least empathy when the situation was explained. Very cold and unprofessional customer service.

I don’t think anyone likes going to the bank, but if you have to go this is the one. I have been going to this Citizens branch forever because they are always super nice and helpful. One time some lady in a brand new car rear ended my beater in the drive up hahah, her car was straight totaled! I had zero damage was hilarious.
