Apparently CVS can change your medication to a generic form with no notification or regard to whether it is in your insurance formulary. Then you get a notice from your insurance provider that they will no longer cover that medication and it takes you hours to figure out why.

As a former CVS employee I know this job can be stressful. However, it would appear everyone in this pharmacy completely hates their job. Not friendly. Not helpful. One time I called & was greeted with "hello?". Just hello. Then I had a medication on national shortage. No problem, out of their control, I figured they would fill it whenever they got some in. Wrong. They took my prescription out of the inventory queue for no apparent reason & I've been without my medication for TWO WEEKS. No explanation or apology as to why this happened. Unprofessional, unfriendly, irritated staff. Everything is an inconvenience to them. Even a simple question about your medication.
Edit May 2024: the pharmacy seems to have made some major changes with their staff and I have not had any unpleasant interactions at all in a long while. I typically use the drive through and everyone has been pleasant for at least the last 6 months, and one guy in particular, I want to say his name is Nick or Chris, I will find out for sure, has been there longer than the previous 6 months & he deserves to still be there. Outstanding customer service. So he needs a shout out call to corporate honestly.

Lead technician answered my call 5/9/24 in the morning, very rude, hang up the call without answering my questions as to guidance on obtaining needed information. Called a second time same person answered refused to put the pharmacist on the phone as requested, and hung up again. I’m not using CVS anymore, would give a negative review -5⭐️ if possible

Pamela the pharmacist is the RUDEST person I have ever met at a pharmacy IN MY LIFE. I came through the drive through to get a prescription and when I told her the name of the prescription although it was in the system she continued to interrogate me about why I needed this medication. When I explained to her it is personal and I didn’t want to tell her she continued to insist for me to announce what it was for which is HIGHLY unacceptable for someone working in her position. After that interaction she told me to get my fingers out of my mouth after I was scratching the corner of it and said she didn’t want me to give her my infection. I feel absolutely and utterly embarrassed and I feel awful for the workers who have to deal with her daily as well as customers. I PRAY you guys fix because she will be no longer getting my services.

I was just in CVS, on 3/21/2024 @ about 7:14 PM. I checked out at 7:16 PM Mad as hell. I came down and noticed you still had Valentine's candy at 75% off. There is a woman right in front of me. I go to grab 2 bags of Conversation Hearts and I notice she is taken down the 75% signs. I said, \"Oh, how much are they now?\" I figured they were going to be less. She scans my bag and says $5.99. They were $1.50 the last ones I got. Seeing I was right there I figured I would still get the 75% off. NOPE...Very rude.

The pharmacy staff is very rude and inpatient. They wanted to hang up before I figured out what to do with my prescription that hospital wired to their store by mistake.

While this CVS is exceptionally busy; I’ve always had a good experience here when I’ve needed assistance. The Pharmacy Staff is amazing; I respect & admire all of them; I could not do their job. Many times I see Pharmacist’s with a phone ? on each ear AND answering questions to people talking to them; I can’t imagine the stress. Thank You for being there under that pressure and also dealing with many sick people.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. Inefficient, out of stock, uneducated. Poor service, poor quality and poor workers. Do not use this pharmacy. Awful. Useless people, useless store.

Scheduled online to receive the RSV vaccine. I arrive and check in, to be called back to the pharmacy because they don't have the vaccine in stock! Had to reschedule for next week and listening to their conversation, they "think" it will be restocked. Instead of offering to call me to confirm that it's in stock before I arrive, I had to ask them whether I can call to confirm its arrival before my rescheduled appointment. Do better.
