I needed a storage during the process of buying a home in Coventry, RI. I picked Extra Space Storage because the close location and ease of entry. The facility was always clean and they provided wheel carts to help load your belongings. When I closed by rental the staff person was very nice and gave me some much appreciated local knowledge. Thank You and I will think of you guys if I need storage again.

Phenomenal service! Never rented a unit before and the gentlemen in the office helped me every step of the way to make it an easy process! The unit was just the size I needed and all of my items were safe and secure. Would definitely go through them or recommend them to anyone!!!

The staff is friendly. Our initial sign up was a breeze 3 years ago. Went downhill after that.
The consistent changing of rates was incredibly frustrating. Constantly had water getting into our unit because the automatic doors were always malfunctioning.
What really upset me was the lack of flexibility when trying to move our items out of the storage unit. We are moving cross country, and we were moving our items into a POD. We asked if we could have a POD dropped off, just for a few hours, out of the way, on site so we could easily move our stuff from the unit directly into the POD. Despite being a customer for 3+ years and spending 12k over the years , I was told ‘no way.’ When trying to come up with a compromise or solution, they would not even listen to me. Instead, I had to rent a UHaul and essentially conduct 2 moves, and spend additional time and money.
Frustrating end to what initially was a good experience.

I needed a storage space in a personal emergency on one of the worst days of my life! The personnel at Extra Space Storage were extremely helpful, kind and compassionate.
