Worth the drive for sure. They have a wide range of domestic and exotic hardwoods at reasonable prices and the people are simply wonderful. The rotating stock of live edge slabs is particularly impressive.
Even if you don't have a work truck, they'll cut the wood to whatever size you need to be able to fit it into a regular sedan. Perfect for a hobbyist woodworker

Stopped in to look for some woodworking materials. Spent 30 minutes learning about their stock and what was available from Deb. She is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure. Going there for years. Worth a trip. Have used them for custom cut and sized oak 6x6x18 foot oak beams, a box truck load of tongue and groove knotty pine, southern pine for floors and today for legit railroad ties. Finally replacing a few of the ones I got there 30 years ago.

This place is a woodworker’s paradise. They have the most beautiful, exotic hardwoods with tons of character — perfect for my cutting board projects. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Really friendly and helpful staff. My recent visit was my first and they took the time to give me a tour of all the lumber they have in 3 separate buildings.As a professional woodworker I was impressed with the selection and quality of their lumber products.As a DIYer or a hobbyist it can be intimidating to go to a lumber yard and worry about asking a "stupid" question. If this sounds like you, Koszela Lumber is the place for you.

Wonderful shop run by friendly and helpful staff. There is a great selection of quality lumber both domestic and exotic. There is a wide range of slabs as well as S4S milled lumber. In general I found the prices to be a bit higher than my typical distributor, however the quality of lumber is significantly better. I was easily able to locate a near perfect board in no time. I highly recommend shopping here, as I will be in the future.

Best lumber yard I have ever been to. Not only is the selection absolutely incredible, everyone there is super nice and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable and they're transparent with them. I could easily spend hours there looking at all of the unique products they have.

Koszela Lumber has a great selection of exotic wood. They also have a large selection woodworking supplies, hardware and finishes.All the folks that work there are very knowledgeable and friendly.
