I would not recommend this daycare.
My son, who has a speech delay, started attending this daycare in January. Before enrolling, I explained his needs, and the staff assured me they could accommodate him. During our initial tour, we noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from Lexi, the person who gave us the tour and runs the daycare. Although that raised concerns, we moved forward because we urgently needed a daycare in Coventry so our son could receive transportation from daycare to pre-K.
For months, we were told he was doing great. But on his first full day during the summer, I received a call saying they weren’t equipped to handle him and that he needed more one-on-one attention. It was clear they were not patient or understanding when it came to his communication delay. Lexi, in particular, often made us feel like our son was being judged unfairly, and her attitude toward him felt dismissive and unkind. My child’s father and I would often try to avoid interacting with her altogether — her personality felt forced and disingenuous, and we could see right through it.
What frustrated me most was their lack of understanding that it takes children 4–6 weeks to get accustomed to a new routine — especially during a seasonal transition like summer.
We were also charged for full-time care even though he only attended part-time — supposedly to “hold his spot” for summer. In the end, I decided to withdraw him.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience. If you’re looking for a daycare that treats you like family, go down the road to Me and My Friends.

My son has been going here for just about a year, since he was 11 months old, and we just absolutely love this preschool! The teachers are amazing and very accommodating, the school is always very clean and organized, and he is constantly learning new skills. Since being enrolled he has learned sign language, all of his colors, and he’s just begun counting and he’s only 21 months! Throughout the day they consistently keep us informed with how much he’s been eating, his naps, diapers, and they send pictures, which I LOVE! I honestly can’t say enough good things about MunchkinLand!

I cannot say enough good things about this Preschool. My son went here u til he started public school and my daughter is there now. Most caring staff and great teacher/student ratio. I almost feel bad my wife and I are done having children because I cannot send another child here.

As a first time mom, I was anxious about sending my daughter to daycare and being away from her all day. Fast forward one year later, and sending our daughter to Munchkinland was the best decision we ever made. I cannot say enough positive things about the owner and all of the caring and hard working teachers. They truly love our daughter as if she were their own. Both my husband and I feel she is incredibly safe under their care. They communicate with us constantly and have gone above and beyond on many occasions to ensure she is cared for with love and it shows in the relationship she has built with her teachers! She is so excited to go to school in the morning and smiles every single day as her teachers greet her! In a very short period of time, the team at ML have become family and we could not be more content and happy with our choice for child care. I would encourage any first time parent to set up a meeting/tour with the owners and I think you will instantly understand the family atmosphere! It truly is one of a kind. Thank you a million times over for taking care of our most precious gifts.

If I could give 10 Stars I would! I can’t say enough about this wonderful preschool! I couldn’t have picked a better environment for my son to be in. I know he is safe, clean, always learning and most importantly loved. Lisa, Joelle and the entire staff are so knowledgeable and always have a smile on their faces! If you’re looking for a top notch Preschool, then look no further than Munchkin land! Highly recommend!

Director of the place is crazy make sure you don't pull up go the preschool go park and leave she'll think it's suspicious. Sounded like a name for a donut shop

We have 2 at Munchkin Land & have been enrolled for over a year. I was hesitant at first, as any parent is dropping their baby off with strangers, but the women at Munchkin Land are so loving & attentive to my little ones. I love that the classroom sizes are so small too.My children light up when I mention their Teachers’ names. My toddler is learning so fast I can hardly keep up & my infant is being challenged daily to reach developmental milestones. I am thoroughly impressed with the effort staff put in on a daily basis. I highly recommend joining the Munchkin Land family.

My daughter attended preschool at Munchkin Land and she absolutely loved her experience there. Even years after she graduated and moved onto elementary school, she still talks about her wonderful experiences at the school. My son is currently in preschool at Munchkin Land. He has attended since he was an infant and loves going to school every day. As a parent, I enjoy the atmosphere and the family friendly events. I think they have amazing communication and I have enjoyed each of his teachers at all levels. I highly recommend this child care center.

I sent my two children here, ages two and four, based on the promise by the owner that there would be a playground built before they attended in the upcoming three weeks. I paid the registration and all based on the comfort of the munchkinland 1’s reputation and the owners great personality. It was made clear before then that my four year old son does not nap, and that I wanted to make sure he could and would be allowed to have quiet playtime which he is very capable of.My son returned home one day and this is he told me very specifically and I quote “my teacher (ms. Joelle I found out later - the owners daaughter who later denied ever saying this) told me 4 times to go to sleep, that I can’t leave my cot area, so I just closed my eyes when the teacher was close to me, pretending to sleep, but when they weren’t near me I just lied there, but I didn’t have my eyes closed.”When I sent an email saying my children would no longer be returning as a result of this incident, the director Joelle told me that my son was given a teddy bear to play with and that they are not allowed to leave their cot areas during nap time, but not forced to sleep. MY SON IS FOUR AND DOESNT PLAY WITH TEDDY BEARS LET ALONE FOR TWO HOURS!THEY ATTENDED FOR ONLY THREE DAYS AND THE PLyground included a sandbox and one of those small backyard slides, the small ones. I asked for my registration fee back and Joelle said it was no refundable. STAY AWAY!!! Can’t leave the cot area, giving a four year old a teddy bear to play with for two hours, no water play all week, and a liar of a director.
