I have banked here for almost 15 years. Years back they started charging for checking. I used to have overdraft protection. Now every transaction that posts I am being charged $30. Tried to contact customer service and they are unwilling to help. The bank closes super early before even 5pm. The ATMs are far and few between. For this reason I had to cancel my account. I just opened a free checking account at navigant with interest. This bank used to be very wholesome and I have fond memories of it.

Great bank, very convenient locations. This particular branch is always fast, really friendly and reliable. Great hours, clean inside, plenty of parking outside. The drive up lanes usually move pretty quickly which is nice. Overall never any issues here, definitely recommend :-)

This bank has no idea how to handle business accounts, every time my husband and I go here for anything-to set up a business accnt, to confirm information for payroll, etc-we are never able to accomplish anything in one visit, we always have to go back in a second or third time to get anything accomplished. I went in a couple weeks ago to get information for my payroll company, and they gave us information for an accnt that they wouldn't let our employee cash his check from. Our time is valuable and so is our money that we have sitting there in multiple accounts-but not for long. Do not waste your time here if you own a business.

They rip you off in overdraft fees cost me $30.00 for overdraft of 22 cents I intend to place a complaint against them for this is crazy

This place is horrible! My payments are not applied properly. I’ve spent hours trying to get answers. Finally, Courtney looked at my account. Apparently fixed it, but it is now screwed up again. What company nowadays doesn’t accept electronic payments? I know it’s New Year’s Eve, but it is not a holiday and I can’t get through to anyone!! Terrible credit union.

have completed two Yacht loans with Ocean State C.U. and couldn't be more pleased with the level of service I received. Claudia Flanagan has been very helpful through both loan transactions and I'd highly recommend doing business here. i also visit the branch from time to time to make in person payments and I've always been greeted by smiling tellers. Great place!

Not anymore. Been loyal customer for years. I have moved to Florida and has one more auto pay I had to change over. I have written out check from Fl account and deposited by mobile banking to cover. This month I made an error and I accidentally pulled a check from Ocean State and deposited it into the acct not realizing I didn't pull Fl check. Well the next thing I knew I get a notice with $30 fee for bounced check. Now auto pay happens today so I tied doing the deposit from

Once again your bank has shown its true colors! You are not member oriented! My son is serving in the military, stationed almost a thousand miles from home...he tried to stay loyal to your bank but you have failed him! He has been having issues with his card and you just blew him off....he has been back and forth on the phone with your bank since Friday early afternoon....now the bank is closed and he still has no acces to his money for the remainder off the weekend!! I can guarantee you he will be switching banks, along with the rest of our family! Thanks for showing your true colors and your lack of support for our men and women of the military! I have never been so disappointed!

Money order purchased on Friday will have a date of Monday on them. I go to the post office for a postmark before I mail it. I do not like to having that company who I am paying that I not paying my bill on time. Also, recovering from a broken foot and I can not do those stairs or that ramp on the other side at Ocean State near the Post office. I have to drive over to the other. There foth I do most of my banking at Citizen and only deposit in Ocean State is my state pension.
