I am just confused about the new charge for a bag? RI has banned single use plastic bags so now Carter's charges 10 cents for a bag? it's not the dime it's the ridiculousnes. They actually implemented the policy BEFORE the ban. If you live in Ohio there is no ban, but you don't have to pay for the plastic bag. I called other carters stores too and no charge for a plastic bag, but if you live in RI you get charged for a paper one. The best part is you can just get free shipping if you have $35 of merchandise. Yes, you heard it here first! Lots of free shipping, but no free bag. MONEY GRAB.

Great quality clothing at reasonable prices but… GO EASY on the “customer service”. Remember, if you ask someone “can I help you” (or a reasonable facsimile) again and again and again and again… it turns people off. Yikes. Breathe. Let the people shop.

I had purchased 12 pairs of Christmas pajamas this afternoon for family to wear on Christmas Eve & realized that my 2 elderly neighbors would be alone so I invited them over & they gladly accepted but realized I didn't have any pjs for them. I called the store right b4 closing to ask the girl if she'd put 2 more pair away for me & she she went & found them for me!! She was so polite & it was near closing so I know they were busy but she was so, polite. They were all very nice when I was there this afternoon too!!

Patient employees. Organized. Small boys section but as everyone with a boy knows that's everywhere so I won't beat them down for that.

My favorite place to shop for kids clothes. The clothes withstand my little monster well. They usually have good sales/ prices. The store is always neat and clean.

I absolutely love This store. Just had my first grandchild and Carter's has all the latest fashions to keep my granddaughter looking so good. Prices are great also. Would recommend to anyone with newborns or small children.
