Hours are incorrect on yelp. The store closes at 10:00 pm - it says open until midnight. I went to the store as they were closing and was met by a rude employee closing up. She was condescending and bothered. Sadly not surprising that even your local pharmacy could care less about a sick customer.

My prescription for some reason wasn't received from the dr's office. It took me 2 hrs & 3 calls to the answering svc. of my dr's office to have the on-call dr resend the script w/a request to fill immediately. I called CVS at 8:30 pm to make sure it was rec'd. The teeny bopper who answered the phone said it wasn't there. After insisting the dr sent it 5 mins earlier & getting push back from the teeny bopper, he says oh wait I just hit refresh & it's here. I asked if they could fill it so it can be ready for first thing in the morn, he said if I got there by 9 (20 mins), it would be ready. I got there & the pharmacist says the script just came thru & they'd be closing in a few mins, did I need it tonight? Are you kidding? Why would the kid on the phone say they would fill it so it would be available by 9, but the pharmacist acted as though she wasn't even aware of it until I got there?

I'm giving Cvs two stars only because I like some of the people that work there. I've been going there for years and they have been there for years and are very kind. There are some kind staff that I don't know as well but boy are they short staffed. Now the drive-through is closed and I understand there's a work shortage but it just seems like it could be managed better. Maybe not. But again I walked into the store where I buy my healthcare products and saw a dirty foyer that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The hand disinfectant station was filthy and as many times as I've written about this nobody cares.

The opitimy of not giving a remote shit about customers. I sent in a prescription from my Massachusetts doctor and apparently there are different rules in RI that make it so the doctor needs to put the diagnosis on the script...ok. so on Tuesday they say they tell me that after I call to confirm, to which they state they will call in the morning and get it squared away, however the medication won't be in until Thursday. Not happy I had to call but it is what is. I call the following day to just confirm the script was corrected and I can pick it up on Thursday, to which they yes just waiting on a shipment...fine. when I show up on Thursday they say they still need to call my doctor and can't fill my perscription. The pharmacist proceeded to tell the front counter person they can't transfer it even to another pharmacy, while in earshot of me, couldn't even address me personally since I was standing 5 feet from her. I will never go to a CVS again even though it's right down the street from my house.

This was my first time filling a script at CVS since Phred's Drugs closed, and it was not a good experience. When asked to cut the pills, as Phred's had happily done for my family and others for 62 years, the pharmacist refused. When pressed, because I tend to crush the pills when I attempt to cut them, the pharmacist, who couldn't be bothered, instructed the bedraggled CHECK OUT GIRL to cut them... manually. How is it that a mom and pop pharmacy like Phred's had a machine to cut pills, and CVS, a large corporation, does not? In any event, the check out girl proceeded to cut the pills by hand, without washing them first during flu season, and scratch her head, and her nose, and handle money, all while another customer looked on with a vicious cough. Long story short, when we explained the situation to the now embarrassed pharmacist, she threw the pills out and started again. But what business does a check out girl have handling prescription medication in the first place?! Way to delegate, CVS. Not a very good first impression. Needless to say, we are looking for another pharmacy. As a side note, in this day and age, I'm tired of paying more and getting less, especially from big business. And, as customers, we just sort of shoulder the burden like we have no other choice... and that is unfortunate.

I had to relocate to Rhode Island suddenly for a sick family member and forgot to refill an important medication before I left. The pharmacy staff here was incredibly helpful and compassionate helping me sort it out.

Plan to wait forever in line when all the employees stand around and talk while a line of customers builds up. And don't expect the employees to help you find anything

I've been going to this particular CVS for many years and the staff at this location have always been both friendly and professional. At least up until this one particular day... I had a return and to my surprise, things did not go well AT ALL. I walk up to the counter with my return. (unopened CVS Brand merchandise!) The supervisor comes over and I offer a simple statement explaining my return. She looks at me and says, "I'm sorry but our policy is not to accept returns on Tobacco products." (it was an unopened box of Nicotine patches) Me: " This isn't a box of cigarettes or a tobacco product. It's smoking cessation." Supervisor: "I'm sorry but our policy is not to accept returns on Tobacco products." Me: " I bought this "here" in THIS STORE" Supervisor: "I'm sorry but our policy is not to accept returns on Tobacco products." Me: "This is a CVS Brand Product! I thought CVS always accepted their CVS Brand products on return." Supervisor: "I'm sorry but our policy is not to accept returns on Tobacco products." Me: "Are you just going to keep repeating the same thing over and over like that?" Supervisor: "I'm sorry but IT IS our policy not to accept returns on Tobacco products." Me: (Please note at this point I am LIVID! I can't BELIEVE this girl is actually pulling this crap. How completely unprofessional! She keeps repeating the same EXACT sentence over and over like a robot. It was ridiculous. HOW in the world does someone with this personality ever get to be a supervisor? You can't speak to people this way! The entire thing was a debacle. She never even asked me for my receipt. We never even got to that. She just shut down the transaction as soon as I said "Nicotine Patches." At this point, I'm so irritated by her robot antics I just have to leave. I looked at her and I said something to the affect of "This is ridiculous. " and I walked out of the store. I get to my car and tossed the CVS bag with the Nicotine Patches into the back seat and leave. So, I am not stuck with 2 boxes of CVS Brand Products that I'll never use? One opened, one unopened. Is this how CVS operates? Is THIS their idea of accepting all CVS brand merchandise? I would also like to note that I am a regular at this CVS. I spend a lot of money in this store. All of the employees are very kind but THIS girl, I never saw her before and she should NOT be in a customer service position. It's important to treat customers with respect. Especially if you want them to return. Not to mention with all of the social media out there. Word travels.

This is just like any other cvs. It's large and has everything you need. The service is good, no complaints. The lines are short and I recommend this cvs to anyone.

The customer service I received was horrendous. The pharmacy tech Amanda was so rude as she always is. She has such a miserable, rude demeanor. I have witnessed her being rude to other customers too while I wait. She is always wrong as well. I will be writing to the appropriate person to let them know my experience. I have let her unacceptable customer service slide one too many times!

this is a 24 hour location and is always clean and we'll stocked. I had one bad experience with an employee who has moved on, thankfully. the drive through pharmacy is also very practical!

I understand that CVS is more then just a pharmacy, but that is their main business concept. I go to this location to get one prescription filled each month. I have to take it everyday, they know I pick it up once a month every month yet they only have it in stock about half of the time. I try to fill it here every time! They know I am going to because they send me reminders yet they don't have it in stock. Boo!

Unacceptable Cash Handling Practices. If you cant take cash and complete a transaction without scre4wing up, you working in the WRONG place! When I called to bring the situation to the store management, I found out that the total screw-up allegedly WAS the manager. Guess who won't be shopping there any more??? Stay on your toes, consumers, I doubt I'm the only one to receive such shoddy treatment. Corporate will be well informed on this one, guaranteed.
