I went online and looking for an inspection sticker location and I decided to pick Harold Crook's garage based on the reviews. When I get there, I meet Glen. He is very friendly, helpful, and polite. I have a tinted windows and helped me cut it off.Glen asked me for my car key I give it to him without touching his hand because he was wearing a latex glove which I'm allergic I told him and he respects it and removed it. I told him it's okay I'll clean my car after, but he still removed it. He said that he does not want me to get sick. As soon I walked into the garage, he greets me. To me, that speaks volumes. It shows appreciation for their customers. In addition, they started doing the inspection on my car right the way and it took about 30 minutes. Very pleased with everything. First time here and I love it. Highly recommended. God bless them and their business. Wow, I see why AAA also approved auto repair with them. ????

My husband has used this garage for years and the previous owner Jim, sold it to a new person last year. Jim still works part time in the shop.I took my car here because my AC was not blowing much cold air....just coolish air....and I did not want to be taken by anybody to find out the real issue of the problem....We made an appointment and showed up on time. I explained the issue and I left the car. About 4 hours later, they called me telling me that they had filled the system with freon since it was low on freon and they gave me a total price.My husband said that in the past, Jim would call before any repairs with an estimate to make sure the customer was OK with the path forward...this time, I just got the work done without any previous chance to "think about it".I arrived, got my car and paid....when I saw my credit card receipt, I noticed that the charge was higher than what I was quoted....I was then told that any credit card charge incurs a 4% extra processing fee... I was just surprised by the lack of transparency.Who walks around with hundreds or thousands of dollars in their wallet??? I think the best is to quote the credit card price and tell the customer that they offer a 4% discount if paid in cash.....

I can’t say enough nice things about this place or the people that work there, I called from New York City nervous I wasn’t going to be able to find anything anywhere for availability and not only were they able to take care of me that day but they also help with several other issues involving my car, fair price is great service couldn’t recommend a place more honestly.

My car was brought to this shop for an electronic throttle controller replacement. They decided to install a non oem replacement for a variety of their own reasons and did not disclose this to the customer. 2 days after the job was completed by Harold crooks, the dashboard showed the electronic throttle control light. When we called to report this back to the shop, they asked us to drive it back to them. After several days, they reported back that although the light for the etc is showing, we shouldn't be concerned. A strange thing to say when the vehicle is showing that it needs to be checked. After they discussed this with Jeep, they determined that the issue was that the vehicle wasn't registering the non oem part appropriately, so they would need to get the oem part. Delays on these parts were estimated to come in on 9/17., and the shop stated they would call us if the part came in or if there's another update. We never received a call, and have had to prompt Bruce and Co for updates, even after establishing dates to check in with us by, because the part was estimated to arrive by a certain date. The last Eta was Dec 19, 2022, and we never received a call. I called today for an update, but Bruce isn't in and the staff don't know when he will be back. I'm supposed to call and hope to get an update if they can spare the time. Maybe my experience here isn't the norm for everyone, but they've certainly been consistent with how they've treated me.

I don’t know the name of the individual I was speaking too but they are completely racist I walked and got completely ignored for like 20 min I then proceeded to speak to someone because I needed and inspection and got nothing but attitude I then saw a white man walk up to the counter and it was like a whole other person appeared behind the counter. Would not recommend

Went in for an inspection and they failed me for a license plate lightbulb and whatever other small thing they could find. The name of the business says it all. Crooks took my $55 and sent me on my way with a failed insp. I would not come back here again.

The best garage I've ever been to. I went in for an inspection and some repairs, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I needed new tires, and they had them delivered within an hour! Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My girlfriend and I had an appointment this morning to drop off our Lincoln MKX. The appointment was at 10 am , upon going to the appointment we had to get two kids ready and we even called the garage to confirm the appointment. Well after calling several times nobody pick up. We went in person and nobody was there, called and the phones weren't working on there end. No signs on the door indicating what is going on. They lost our business for good. Can't even get a call or some type of explanation on why there closed when we had an appointment!!!!

I always take my car here and Jim and Jeanette never do me wrong. They will fix whatever needs to be fixed at a very fair price and absolutely will not make up stuff to overcharge you!
