I wish I could say I had an even decent experience at this Madewell location. I am a valued and dedicated customer and have recently moved to the Providence area. A few months ago I went to this Madewell where I was informed to bring in old jeans for a partial refund (with receipt) for the prior pair of jeans I had bought. Excited, I brought back two pairs of jeans and got a money off coupon. They informed me that the workers who told us that information were not accurate. There is no such thing as getting money back on an already purchased pair of jeans. HOWEVER, these different employees told me to bring back more jeans to then have enough coupons for a new pair of jeans! With this information, I went back a few weeks later (last week) and brought back more jeans. I then went to try on a new pair to purchase with a discount. I went to the register where a different employee than the prior two times said that you are not allowed to use more than one coupon at a time. So, due to their lack of knowledge and communication throughout the department, I was expected to pay nearly full price for jeans after giving away six pairs. I have never had an experience this bad with any retail store. I demand there is a meeting throughout this Madewell store to discuss protocol and rules. I was very excited for another pair of Madewell jeans, but now I will spend my money elsewhere, and so will everyone I know.

The Best In-Store Jean Shopping Experience!Courtney, the manager has the most amazing & helpful staff!Courtney helped me from start to finish to with my shopping experience. I never felt rushed or judged she gave gray advice. I felt like I was shopping with a friend the whole time!This experience made me feel as though I already had an 1:1 appointment set, with undivided attention with the store manager.It felt more like a personal service than a shopping experience. I felt so well taken care of I wanted to tip her at the end?.I truly felt like I was shopping with a friend!This experience truly made me feel beautiful. I love my jeans, I love Madewell. Thank you, Courtney!❤️

First time shopper at Madewell in Cranston RI, and was greeted by big smiles from Honor their salesperson. I ended up with two pairs of Jeans and a sweet top that was on sale. Madewell was also nice enough to give me a Military Discount of 15%. Then Honor offered me $20 for my jeans I was wearing. Sold. Great well stocked store, and amazing sales staff. Thanks Madewell Team

Shopped at the Garden City store and was assisted by a young sales gal who was more than knowledgeable of the merchandise. She was helpful and considerate.

Literally the best shopping experience I've had in RI. Walked in knowing I needed a new pair of jeans, picked up a pair, immediately got overwhelmed, a sales associate immediately noticed and offered to help me with the process. I didn't even know what size I was, and she patiently set me up with a dressing room and supplies me with options until I found one I liked. 10/10 recommend, and the 15% student discount was great!

Sales associate was phenomenal. A different worker checked me out saying the computers were going haywire so she didn't want it to get messed up. Well I got home to realize that nearly all of my items should have been on a HUGE sale and I was charged FULL price. I will be calling management asap. This is unacceptable.

This is more about my experience in the store than the clothes. Went in to check out jeans since they’re having a sale and I love madewell clothes. The store was busy, but nothing too crazy. Could not get anyone to help me - although they were more than helpful to others, even people who had gotten there after me. I had 8 pairs of jeans in my arms before someone offered to help me get a dressing room. I had a question about the fit/style while I was trying them on and when I was finally able to flag someone down (after several minutes) she VERY begrudgingly glanced at the jeans and said they don’t have any in my size (28/29) without offering any other options or help. I’m very disappointed in my experience at this store.

Beautiful store, all the staff were very kind and helpful. Paige helped me find the perfect pairs of jeans and I even got an incredible deal off the clearance rack. Definitely will be back soon. ?
