Very disappointed with the highlights. I reached out to the stylist, and she basically said that I should move on to somebody who makes me happy. Maddie Shewchuk did not even offer to straighten out the problem, which is in my opinion is not good customer service. Treating folks the way you do is not kind or considerate. When a patron pays for a service if the customer is not happy you should at least offer to help the situation. WOW...

Love magnolia, never a bad experience.
Really enjoy head spa treatment. practitioner - was wonderful.
Only suggestion is to lift the head and do the underside of head & hair… back of my head didn’t feel as clean as front and sides. For $110 i would add a quick facial cleanse and massage along with a neck and arm massage. Even if only for 10 min. (Neck and decollate was massaged).
Overall great experience- again practitioner was lovely - but i think the steps of the service could be elaborated on :)

What an amazing group of very talented people! I had a very last minute change & needed my hair & makeup done for some very close friends wedding at the Aldrich Mansion yesterday! I live over 2 hrs away & am unfamiliar with the area so I went with online reviews & found something close to the venue at the last minute. These wonderful ladies fit me in for both my hair & makeup & I could not have been happier! I have never had so many compliments before & I am a complete tomboy so this is not my area of expertise at all. These ladies made me look & feel amazing. I am looking forward to coming back to RI sooner than later for even more beauty services from this awesome business! Thanks so much for everything! ❤️ My hair was just finished by Madison & then I went in with Loran for my makeup. Unfortunately my photos were taken after my hair was already done so before & after photos for makeup only are attached ?? Thank you all again for such an amazing experience!

I recently had to switch hairdressers due to mine changing careers, but decided to stick with Magnolia Salon since they are so nice and welcoming. I went to Emily for a balayage and trim. It’s been a while (like 9 years) since I’ve had my hair bleached professionally. I definitely forgot how long it takes, so I was super tired and quiet as a result of going after work to a longer appointment, but Emily made me feel so comfortable and took her time to make sure I was happy. She also got a bleach, tone, and trim (and style) done within 2.5 hours, so it was relatively quick for that many services! I think the way she does layers in hair is so incredible and unique - that’s what drew me to her in the first place - and she really executed the layers in my hair perfectly (better than I could’ve imagined they could be)! I don’t have any pictures of my hair right now, but check out her Instagram (@ ems_bellezza) and you will have zero doubts about booking her. She has a true talent! I’ll be back to see her soon. Lauren V is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
After having a not so pleasant experience elsewhere Lauren saved my hair !
She took her time consulting with me about my hair, its integrity and how we should fix it. She was so gentle, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t thank her enough for nursing my hair back to life! If you are looking for 5 star service Magnolia is it! All of the staff were kind and the salon was so clean!

I booked an appointment with Maddie for a balayage! She did such an amazing job. I'm in love with my hair! Maddie was so nice and fun to talk to! She was lovely! I will definitely be booking with her again!

Angela Mangano is hands down the best hairstylist I have ever had! She does the best balayage! I’m naturally a brunette but have been getting blonde added and she makes it look so natural! She’s the kindest and easiest person to talk to. I HIGHLY recommend Angela! The whole staff is great at Magnolia.

I booked a blonde balayage with Leila having never been to her before. At the appointment, I was very specific with pictures as to the desired highlighting and cut. With dark brunette hair, I was looking for a change but wasn’t expecting anything drastic during this first session.
Unfortunately, the end result was complete disappointment $250 later. The highlighting was very uneven, brassy and the haircut also couldn’t have been more uneven.
The following morning, I planned on calling the salon regarding the situation; however, Angela contacted me first about going back in the following night for a color correction with Leila - under her supervision and direction - at no charge. I was even given a gift card towards my next service.
Moving forward, I would never recommend booking with Leila due to her inexperience which costed me more than overcharging me for the service…but also my time and waiting for the next couple of months before I can completely color over a botched blonde balayage service. I couldn’t be not disappointed/frustrated overall.
