Worst place on earth - designer messed up measurements of couch order, had to re-order and they are charging me again for delivery. Bought a shelf with white glove delivery, they assembled it wrong and now am stuck as they said it’s not their problem. Horrible experience!

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews about this location but in my 50 years on this planet, I've learned that the public is extremely entitled and if you put bad energy out into the world, don't be surprised if you receive pushback. I've shopped the Garden City Pottery Barn for over a decade, and I've not once encountered a rude employee. The staff here has always been helpful, the store is always clean, and looks great. Compliments to the store, as working with the public is never easy. Five stars. ❤️

For some reason I had a missed call from this place so I called them back and when I said it was a missed call they just immediately hung up which was kind of confusing because I was returning their call, if they didn't want me to call back, why would they call me in the first place? Regardless, I left 4 stars because I've heard good things about this place from my friends and family.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Was going to buy the Pearce coach and then an employee asked us to get up so his clients could sit. We were on the coach for less than 5 minutes. Lost a sale

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I was picking up an online order and was given extreme attitude by an older slender gentleman who works there. I was rudely advised that I “should order items via telephone or in store, ordering online is causing stores to close down, what you’re doing is affecting my job and that I’m the problem with world”. This employee was being extremely rude to both customers and another employee. The gentlemen went to collect my online order and came back with the wrong package advising I had given him the WRONG name and that I was wrong for telling him the incorrect name. When I advised him I in fact did give the right name and showed him the order number he denied the package ever being at the location. Another employee had to go upstairs and look after he began arguing with me that the package wasn’t there. Low and behold the package was upstairs and the employee rolled his eyes after it was found. Never shopping here again, I feel bad for such an amazing business to have this as a representative.

Tonight was the second time I tried this location. Both times I was in the store for more than 40 min and not one employee spoke to me, made eye contact…nothing. The store was not busy as it was a Wednesday night. It’s unfortunate because I have not had this experience in one of the Massachusetts locations nor the locations in CA. I will order online instead.

Service is terrible here. No one smiles or even asks if you need help. They make you feel very unwelcome and don’t even thank you for the business. A great advertisement to buy online or elsewhere. Other stores in Garden City that are competitors and much nicer.

Ordered an ottoman online and when the delivery date came back as mid-October (on April 3), I asked to cancel it. They refused. Said it was a special order. What is it that is already underway? Perhaps they had notified the sheep that they need wool?

Honestly, if I was able to give zero stars, I would. If you’re going to buy anything from this place, make sure you definitely do not get it delivered. They have the absolute incompetent people delivering the items. I had to reschedule my order six different times and finally I canceled it. They have brought it to the wrong house twice, They failed to notify me 30 minutes prior to the delivery, And they never wait the full 15 minutes either. They simply do not care. Even supervisor or managers sit there and say there is nothing they can do to help you after you already paid thousands for the furniture. This is an extreme disappointment, and I am highly unsatisfied with the way they handle things. I truly hope that this business will become shut down in the near future. All they care about is the money they don’t care about you or anything else. The customer does not matter to them. They do the absolute bare minimum to try to even help you. Overall disgusted, disappointed and unsatisfied.
