Update (3.10.2024) I changed the review from 5 to 2 stars since I just noticed the new dryer vent was used and broken. The contractor installed an old and cracked vent t cover and then caulked the dryer grate vent on. Of course with the heat, it fell off. Very disappointed in the dryer vent install and low workmanship.I had RISE do an assessment on my house and the result was that I needed insulation and temperature controls. They came to the house to do the work and the workers were fabulous. They were respectful of the house, efficient and courteous. Nothing but great things to say about RISE and the work they do. Highly recommend.

This is a great program that offers information and discounts on how to save energy. The assessment is free if you are a RI Energy customer. I’ve had them come to each house I’ve owned and my parents home. In my current home I took advantage of the added insulation to my attic with added ventilation.

The work was done from the beginning to the end with the mostcare and respect. They used a lot of caution when coming in the house, they were very friendly with the family and they did their work without interfering with the family that were in the house. They did an amazing job cleaning after themselves, even vacuuming the areas. I felt the warm in some rooms in my house that the wind was zipping in immediately. My experience was so satisfactory that I recommend them to my son and many other friends. As of matter of fact they already went to my son's house and they just waiting for him to sign the contract. my son saw the job it as done in my house and the amazing cost and he told me "Mom can you call them for me" hahaha and of course, he is ready to feel the warm house just like me. and guess what the poor thing only had 2 inches of insulation in his attic now we know why the heating bill was so so much. This company definitely RISE to our occasion. I have recommend them to various friends. The cost is excellent and the company take care of some of the cost. I will give the an A+ or a 10 and one half.* You have another satisfied customer in me *

I thought my home was energy efficient but the gentleman came and found areas that could use additional insulation. Over $4000 savings to improve my home.

Rise is a great program, they insulated my attic and it's saving a lot on my winter heating bills. Excellent incentive program made the job very affordable, and it was done quite quickly.

After approximately 50 days, my situation outlined below has been remediated by RISE. After a frustrating first few days struggling to get assistance cleaning up the mess, I got ahold of RISE employee, Brian K. From that point forward, Brian worked hard and did everything he could to get the problem resolved. Brian checked in on the progress repeatedly, his employees called, emailed or showed up when he said they would. Brian made sure the job was finished without further issue and to my satisfaction. Throughout, Brian answered my calls, no matter the time of day.Through this process, I hope RISE has or will adopt a clearer and more streamlined process for handling issues that arise and ensuring that their subcontractors act swiftly to professionally remediate damage that they cause. Had I not gotten ahold of Brian, I am not sure I would have had the same experience. Nonetheless, I am appreciative of Brian and RISE for stepping up and ensuring that I experienced a resolution that I was happy with.I look forward to using RISE in the future as I explore additional programs to increase the efficiency of my residence.Original Review-3 days before Thanksgiving, 2023: I would encourage everyone to use caution when dealing with this company. Ask about what happens if a contractor causes damage. Ask for assurances that RISE will assist with remediation and ensuring the appropriate resources are called immediately to restore your house. A contractor punched a hole through my wall and filled my house with insulation. My house is entirely coated with insulation dust. Every step, every movement sends a cloud airborne that I, my fiance and my dog are inhaling. I am now coughing profusely. Everyone has agreed a professional cleaning and remediation company is needed, however nobody from RISE or the contractor that THEY hired will make the call and get someone to my house. “They are going through insurance” but nobody will explain to the insurance company that my house is uninhabitable to get them to expedite.I don’t want to forget that the contractor pulled out of the job after doing 1/3 of the work. This is probably for the better but now I have to wait for another contractor. My contract said worm within 60 days. Reality was it took 90 days to start it, and now will be even longer.Use caution!Update: On day 3 of dealing with this issue, I got ahold of a RISE employee that was very helpful. He reviewed my issue and had me get a cleaning company to provide an estimate. He immediately approved the estimate and signed off for the cleaning to begin. Clean Rite had a crew to my house in 15 minutes and made significant headway. Due to the holiday, it took until day 5 for the cleaning to be completed. It took a full week to hear from the contractor’s insurance company, which has been one phone call and no return calls. I still need to have my wall fixed, clothes/uniforms dry cleaned and have several items permanently damaged from the incident.

I called Robert my Rise Specialist 8 months after he did our Home Energy Assessment in early 2023. I needed to learn whether I could still apply for a rebate on a new gas boiler (we hoped to get heat pumps but it is not yet the right solution for our home). He was more than helpful, timely and easy to communicate with. I had more questions today- the Friday afternoon before NYEve and both he and Donna (who handles the rebates) called me back- even though the office was closed. Wow! I truly appreciate both of them for going above and beyond for me! Thank you,
