Worker named Maria doesn’t do anything. She can barely put my order in my car. All she does is go on her phone and talk. She’s the girl that was running to the Pokémon vending machine. Unbelievable.

Angry store manager, misleading sales signage and stocking practices that “come from corporate”, beleaguered staff.
The good things are pricing, quality of meat and produce, and cleanliness. Just pray you don’t need help. Many items are either not priced or are stocked over stickers that feature cheaper prices than what it rings up for. Even if you bring a photo of the stock and sticker with you to the register they won’t honor the pricing but instead send you to customer service to complain.
They violate state law (which requires that all items must be correctly priced constantly) and blame “tag must have fallen off. Except if you take the trouble to bring photos to customer service to complain and go back the next day you are just as likely as not to find the specific situation not corrected. And I wrote to “corporate” too. Never even got a response from them. Buyer beware.

Gotta love going through self checkout to suddenly have an employee screaming at you from fifteen feet away that I didn't scan something without even looking to see if I had, which I did, as I continue to finish carefully scanning in my items I noticed that myself, my daughter, and neice are surrounded by 5-6 employees, will never be shopping at a Shaw's establishment again.

The Manager at Customer Service earlier this afternoon wouldn't honor my receipt and give me my money back for $32.95 on my EBT card for dead lobsters that Shaw's sold me on 08/04 then which made me and my sister go to the hospital from food poisoning and we there for 15-20 days so we weren't able to go there that day or another day because we were very sick throwing up and diarrhea too. I'm so very disappointed about this situation right now and I wanted your manager at the Customer Service to be permanently fired she was very rude,and I feel like she should have just given me my money back now. I won't be going back to Shaw's Supermarket Cranston RI at all now. I'm DONE. I would give that place 0 stars if I could because Customer is always supposed to be Satisfied forever.

The good: Shaws has a large assortment of items from international cuisines. It’s very surprising what you can find there.
The bad: the produce is horrendous at times. It looks like it’s been sitting on the shelf for over a week. I’ve seen better produce at Aldi! Also they hired a bunch of new teenage cashiers who clearly don’t want to be there or help customers. All they know how to do is roll their eyes when someone asks them a question.
