These types of establishments never cease to amaze me. I went in today to get stamps for a regular/standard birthday invitation. Regular size, regular envelope, regular weight. The gentleman working told me I needed a specific type of stamp that would cost $1.19 or I would have to put 2 regular postage stamps on 1 envelope. As they did not have stamps we were looking for I then went to the Providence and also Johnston post offices. Both said all I need was one standard stamp as that’s all the innovation was. Also on top of it the guy was beyond rude. If you don’t want to deal with customers all day find a new job. HORRIBLE, SCAMMING AND LYING.

Best experience getting a passport today. The agent I worked with, Jackie answered all my questions and was so nice.
Easy and fast process I highly recommend.

Mailman for Cranston doesn’t even check our outgoing mail 😭been over a week and now we can’t attend a wedding. Zero stars if I could. Oh! And he walks thru everyone’s front yard regardless of if they have mail or not lol

My family of 3 came in for a passport service and Courtney could not have been more pleasant to deal with. She guided us through the process and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable.

Slowest post office I've ever dealt with. 20 minute wait time when I was 4th in line. Stop torturing the one poor young lady you leave up front with a 20 person line... foreign old employee helps one Spanish family (took 25 minutes at least) then she dissapeared into the back to leave the other employee to deal with everyone when the line was going past the front door. Disrespectful to your coworker and the 20+ people waiting. Hopefully you learn to get better but I certainly won't be back to check. More worth it to drive 20+ minutes to the warwick locations as they put in actual effort.

I went here a few weeks ago to do a passport application and was helped by Courtney who was an absolute doll. The line was busy but she was kind, patient and friendly. Thanks again!!

I seriously don’t get how the Cranston post office can always somehow lose a package or get the tracking completely wrong…

The worst customer service ever. My mail is never delivered and I constantly have to come ick up packages only to be told the package isn’t there. Complete waste of time

The employees in this post office are vindictive trash. They move as slow as possible knowing how long people have been waiting and then try to play it off as good customer service. You are on their time and they take full advantage of it. Save your time, patience and sanity and avoid this location like the plague..unless you plan on spending the rest of your life there and dying while waiting to ship your packages. Most miserable people on earth and they want you to suffer with them.

There is *ALWAYS* a line at this location. Only one of 4 available stations is attended. People are pleasant but plan on at least a 10-15 minute wait. I usually drive to Rolfe square bc it's quicker even with the 5 minute drive there and back.

I went there today. @ 2pm. When I first got there the gentlemen working. Was very polite and helpful trying to figure out the best way to mail it and for the best rate, since everything is so expensive these days! So I thanked him stepped out of line repackaged it and got back in line. Now because I had to open and re package I could have used just one more piece of tape. Now considering I was already paying probably more than I paid for everything inside the package I simply and nicely ask Courtney for a small piece of scotch tape. She said she didn’t have any and I said u have some right there. She said no I’m not giving it to you. Treating me like I was her worst enemy cuz I asked for a piece of tape. Then she continued to be rude, but embarrassing to others in line then THREW my package. That she REFUSED to give back to me cuz she put a sticker on it.. and then said well if you lose all your items it’s not our problem. So i politely said thank you for being so kind and helpful and left. Which brings me here, I just wanted Courtney’s boss to know that the Gentleman with the long hair deserves a raise especially working with the public which I realize can be trying. He treated people kindly and was very helpful. So I figured I’d be helpful to him and to Courtney, and let Courtney know it’s ok to be nice, and if your having a bad day.. I understand, but if you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Maybe her manager should bring her down off her pedestal and perhaps retrain her in proper customer service. And with that said if you don’t like your job, then find a new one. If my doctor was horrible to me I’d fire him as I wouldn’t need his services. Courtney was unhelpful and then legitimately refused to give my belongings back, basically assuring me that she would go above and beyond to make sure my stuff was lost in the mail! I realize I haven’t mailed a package in a decade, but I didn’t realize that being stuck up and holier than now was something employers looked for on a resume. Hopefully this message gets to Courtney who was working at 2pm in Garden City Cranston and she might use this review of her and her terrible customer service as a lesson to be learned to not bite the hand that feeds you, Because Courtney, without my package or anyone else’s you would be replaced by a machine and you would not be working there. Technically speaking we as tax payers and those actually still using the services of the USPS, is the reason you get a paycheck! Thank you Courtney for such a terrible experience at the post office, when it’s really not that hard to do the right thing! Have a good rest of your shift and have a good weekend. Also, thanks to the gentleman there who she should probably take a few lessons from, and I also hope he actually does have a wonderful weekend!
