This place is horrible. I got an oil change here. And they placed a sticker on my car to plan for my next oil change. Either on 8/13/24 or 167,571 miles. I’m currently at 163, 007 miles as of 3/6/24. My car was making very loud noises, since last week. The last thing I thought it would be is oil. Nope!!! My coworker checked and it was none that came out on the stick. I spoke to a manager and he said oh I should be checking my oil after it’s been driven certain miles. Absolutely not!!! Your employees should know how to do their job. I’m not a mechanic. Then you should put a sticker that reflects that!!!! I’ve never had an issue with oil with this car and I’ve owned it for 4 years. Never once before coming to place have I had to check my oil, and place more oil in my car before the date or mileage was reached .

I don’t know how their number system works but the guy working there made me move lines twice. I waited two hours and still nobody saw me. I left because I had to be somewhere else before even getting my oil change. Been coming here 3 times but safe to say I won’t be ever coming back.

I had to bring my car to Valvoline in Cranston on Sunday, February 26, 2024 for a routine oil change. While there, the technician was very friendly and excited to work on my car. Unfortunately, a few hours after having my vehicle serviced, my engine light came on and my car shut off while I was idling in the middle of the road. Triple A couldn't figure out the issue, so I brought the car back to Valvoline first thing Monday morning. They brought me right in and reassured me that they would figure out the problem. Valvoline showed a great amount of professionalism and accountability and made sure I was taken care of. They came to a conclusion in a timely manner and fixed the issue, since they are very busy on Sundays, I was able to understand that mistakes are likely to happen. The manager and technician on Monday morning were beyond professional, friendly, and mature. The engine light turned off the dash board after they topped off the oil and the manager advised me to bring my car to a mechanic and follow up with them if there are any reoccurring issues with the engine or camshaft. As a female who knows slim to nothing about cars, it is definitely difficult to find a trustworthy auto place that wont up-charge or take advantage of me. It is a huge relief to know that I can trust Valvoline and know that they will take care of my car with honesty and care.

I took my truck here for an oil change and transfer case fluid replacement. They did not put the screws back in my air dam. When I brought it back to have my screws returned they put zip ties on it instead of the screws they had taken out the first time. Customer Service has been of minimal assistance and there is a case open. Staff appear very inexperienced. 15 Minute Service has become over 7 days and 3 trips very quickly. Avoid.

Tristen and Zach were amazing. Knowledgeable, patient, professional, and kind. I’ve been to other Valvolines and never have I had an experience quite like this 1. 10/10 absolutely amazing! Tristen and Zach really deserve a raise. Again can’t explain how great these guys are, you just have to go in for yourself and find out. I won’t be bringing my car anywhere else that’s for sure! Thanks guys!

Do not use this Valvoline My mother went there they lied to her told her she had a massive oil leak and she needed to go to the mechanic up the street and since then she's been having nothing but problems with her battery draining and her ignition going out. My mother is 67 years old and clearly they thought they had a mark he not only lied to her but he did something to her computer

DAMAGED CAR, don’t go here it will happen to you!!! I went in for an oil change and the technicians Willow and Anthony tried to open the hood by yanking it up twice without checking if there is a latch under the hood you have to release in order to open the hood. They then try to close the hood which they were not able to since they pulled the hood up without releasing the latch they broke the piece. This went on for another 15-30 minutes where they were unable to successfully close the hood. I filed a claim online and spoke with Brett the store manager and Tim the area manager both who completely disregarded what happened and have now left me with a broken hood which does not close. I highly advise staying away from this store as the technicians are not trained well at all nor respectful. Seeing as the manager did not handle the situation professionally or responsible it only shows to why the technicians are such inexperienced individuals who will most likely damage and break parts on your vehicle which will result in an absolute horrible experience like this. 10/16/2023 — I was searching for a place yesterday where I could get a quick oil change . I have A friend who works on my car but it takes a long time , it’s never in and out specially for oil change . So, I have an important trip around 1pm . I searched online . I have tried jiffy lube before . I think twice I only go for an oil change and they have talked me into spending more (my friend keeps my car in tip top shape ) and have waited a good hour there . Searching online, I found Valvoline , and on their website the headline that said “drive thru oil change “caught my attention . I tried it today . Was there at 7:02am . The man there was very nice and since it was my first time ever with this company , he quickly explained the procedure . I drove to the back of the building , he opened the gate. They had a person that spoke Spanish (although it wasn’t necessary)but i like to speak Spanish when I can . They did ask me about checking my air conditioner filter but i wasn’t pressured to get it done . I said “only oil “ they went ahead and did the change . The whole process took about 15 min but , I was there early , I was the first one (I say this so you don’t think every case is the same wait times ) . Another car showed up , and this guy asked if they had coffee ?. Oh , the nerve ! ( I then Grabbed my coffee cup and drank my coffee , maybe he learns his lesson to bring his own coffee ) . I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place before . I love my friend but for an oil change it could hours depending how busy he is usually I wait a good few hours . This place was heaven sent . I totally recommend for oil change.

These people are thieves. They employ people that dont know what they are talking about. They charged me 50$ for an oil cap I didnt even approve . They did it without my consent. I will never be returning to this place. Please stay away.
