“Located near historic Pawtuxet Village, the Rhode Island Yacht Club in Cranston is truly a gem. Being one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country, it offers a wonderful blend of history, charm, and waterfront beauty. The clubhouse boasts stunning panoramic views of the bay, creating a relaxing and picturesque setting from the moment you arrive.
The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, with an active calendar of sailing races, cruises, and community events. The club’s commitment to youth education and sailing programs is especially impressive and adds to its strong sense of tradition and community. Boaters will also appreciate the flexibility of both member and transient options.
Dining at RIYC is a highlight, with both formal and casual options available, all paired with beautiful bay views. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal, attending an event, or celebrating a special occasion, the setting feels special yet comfortable. With its scenic location, rich history, and warm hospitality, the Rhode Island Yacht Club offers an exceptional waterfront experience”
“Awesome place to bowl, they have a nice bar and snackbar. Have a drink and do some bowling. Depending on the time and day it can be busy and you will have to wait for a lane to open, so book ahead or hangout in the arcade while you wait, they have some fun games”
“This is my favorite course in the PVD area. The staff is great, the course is beautiful and such a great value! The only knock I have is that you can’t book for singles online.”
“I went to a Christmas party there and it was very elegant. There was ample space for everything they set up for. Their parking lot is huge. Excellent place for any kind of celebration! Linda Austin”
