Terrible appraisal company that Does NOT know the geographical locations that they do appraisals on. They used comps from Half a mile away instead of using comps on the same street and next street over. Both sides disputed their report but they were arrogant and did not want to change. The discrepancy between an ACTUAL CMA and their appraisal was a HUGE difference. Better to look elsewhere. Awful.

Terrible experience with this appraisal company. The appraisal came back absurdly low. They used a trainee. There were not great comps for my home and they used ones that made little sense. When confronted with the many issues with the appraisal, they refused to reconsider in any way. The value was exactly the same as it was 5.5 years prior and the appraisal was nearly the same as the appraisal on a house in my neighborhood with 900 less s/f less than my house on a smaller lot! The only reason I can account for the discrepancy is racism. We were home when our house was appraised and we are black. Racism in home appraisals is well documented and we were clearly victims.

Fisher Appraisal provided me with an egregious appraisal. Their appraisal was significantly below market value and when questioned their response was utterly arrogant.

I would not recommend this company for an appraisal on Cape Cod.- The appraiser comped a newly renovated home with a tear down. He also comped a home 0.1 miles from the beach to a home over 2 miles from the beach. Both realtors agreed the market value provided was consistent with a land only purchase.- After providing the appraiser with 2 pages of more appropriate comps, he disagree with both the selling and the listing agent and didn't change the value.We had another appraisal come in 125k above what this company provided.EDIT: I spoke with the owner after this review and explained my concerns. There was definitely some miscommunication between the bank, the appraiser and the buyers. I still don't agree with the appraisal given the proximity to the water and the condition of the property. But he did listen and agreed to look into it.
