I currently have “ a lot “ going on with my 7 1/2 year old German Shepherd and Joan was extremely helpful talking about “ raw “ foods and quality , benefits and possible concerns.
She spoke at length and didn’t make me feel like I was asking unfounded questions.

Went into the Smithfield location as a new pet owner and feel very grateful to have met Paige! She was extremely knowledgeable about all the products Rumford Pet had to offer - and took the time to share her own experiences/recommendations with kitty care. I’ll definitely be going back!

Michael helped me out immensely with finding food for my dog with allergies. He also pointed me in the way of helpful treats supplements and information about allergens in my dog's food

Came this morning to give my senior dog a bath. Didn’t realize they didn’t open until 10. Michael was working and was nice enough to let me in early to give my dog a bath. It was very much appreciated as my dog is a senior and getting here in and out of the car is not easy.

They are always SUPER helpful! Especially, Al who has been utterly patient with THIS new cat owner! I am always asking him questions, and seeking opinions on certain products and cat toys, as he too has a cat! He’s always really helpful.

Clean pet washing stations with good quality blower drier and towels that actually absorb moisture (looking at you tractor supply). Prices seem fair, only star I knock off is the access to the basins for some dogs is not ergonomic. My boy is a little older and less spry and he had a tough time getting in and out out. I Will definitely return.
PS - do not trust the apron when using the wash. I left with a wet belly lol

Cumberland Rumford is like visiting a neighborhood family store. From the get-go in talking with Albert to meeting Joan and Michael, we had a most wonderful experience. Super nice people and genuinely accommodating. My German Shepherd is a rescue and very attached to me. He needed a bath, and bringing him to a groomer was traumatic for him, so we decided to try the self-serve dog station. Albert arranged for us to arrive a bit earlier than when the store opened to get Rocky settled and to allow for a good experience. Michael and Joan were notified that we were coming and the entire experience was stellar!!! Rocky thanks you so very much - and I thank you so very much.

Mostly a nice store but I would warn people to not order online or if you do I guess use a credit card with a good dispute system. I ordered on 1/10 and my order “failed” but i was still charged about $70 and I have been going back and forth with the store and my bank- I won’t be getting my money back until maybe the beginning of february. What was supposed to be convenient turned incredibly inconvenient.
