I find the meds like everything else has gone up. Even though I have coverage, my husband goes in the donut hole every year. The staff are always friendly and helpful but their delivery service does not work on behalf of their patrons. I waited a whole week to receive my meds I needed the next day even though I kept calling. Walgreens should take heed to the suggestion they receive.

Purchased a phone charger using my debit card and returned it later in the afternoon. To my surprise, the refund was processed to a Visa card, which I had not provided at the cashier. I had to change my Visa card for security reasons and also submitted a fraud report to the bank. I cannot recommend this pharmacy. Moreover, the pharmacy technicians without my notice, added me to a health plan !Speechless

Never have a problem with my prescriptions at Walgreens. Also, their staff is always pleasant and helpful, no matter how busy they are.

I highly recommend avoiding this pharmacy. I cut myself on some rusty brake rotors while replacing my car's brakes and went for a tetanus booster shot on January 14th to be safe. My insurance plan clearly states that it covers 100% for immunizations in this case, but the pharmacy told me I had a $35.50 co-pay. Not being too familiar with my insurance benefits at the time, I paid. However, when I received the statement of benefits from my insurance, it clearly stated that they covered 100% of the insurance negotiated cost and that I truly owed $0.00 to Walgreens for this visit. Looking at the receipt from Walgreens afterwards, this location charged me the difference between the insurance negotiated rate and their regular uninsured retail price for the immunization. I inquired with Walgreens Corporate to understand why they overcharged me according to my insurance, but got nowhere. The representative opened a case, which simply initiated a call from the store manager who insisted that the “co-pay” was correct. This response from the store manager was despite the fact that my health insurance and associated prescription insurance companies both clearly stating that I owed $0.00 for this visit due to the insurance covering 100% of the insurance negotiated price. I then contacted my health insurance company, which followed up with the pharmacy by phone. During the call, the insurance representative was misled by the individual in the pharmacy they spoke with who claimed they can't fix the billing issue on their side because it's been more than a week since the visit. After approximately 5 weeks, my credit card company determined that Walgreens should not have charged me after evaluating the receipts and insurance benefits documentation, as well as documentation that Walgreens provided regarding the visit. This process took several weeks and was painful as this local Walgreens store and Walgreens Corporate were completely determined to keep the money that they incorrectly charged me, which makes me question whether or not it’s an intentional thing they are doing to take advantage of customers.Unless you absolutely need to use this Walgreens, I recommend you avoid this location, and Walgreens in general, at all costs.

Cumberland RI is an absolute joke- yes you can order your prescription however whether or not they have it is the million dollar question and when they do not they laugh at you and tell you YOU can drive to another location to get it that is FAR out of the way! Horrible customer service, experience and the head pharmacist is beyond unprofessional bordering on negligent. We also inquired about who the district manager is and the head pharmacist REFUSED to tell us.

If you want customer service, this is NOT the place to go. If you want all of your scripts filled, this is not the place to go. If you want excellent customer service from the pharmacy, this is not the place to go. I was advised that my script would be ready for Friday and on Saturday-no script is ready nor is there inventory. When I raised my voice in objection, was advised that the police would be called. I'm putting a inquiry with the district manager to pull the recording of Janine the pharmacist told me I just work here and it's your problem we don't have your script ready. I'm done with this pathetic organization. If you wish for trouble filling all of your scripts, go to this location and have a ball. If you don't have time to waste, do not go here. The customer does not come first, the customer is last and if you don't like that woke kind of attitude, do not do business here.

I went to this Walgreen's to get a Covid shot. The store is absolutely beautiful, well-stocked, and very clean and orderly. The place was positively gleaming. There was a young man restocking items. He asked if he was in my way but he wasn't. Someone is training the store staff really well. The man at the pharmacy counter and drive-thru window was organized and charming - very friendly. He set me up with the paperwork for my vaccine. The pharmacist (I am remiss because I didn't get her name) is really the star of this review. Very professional and ... this is very important ... she called me by my first name. I wasn't some random person getting a shot; she made me feel important as a person. She mentioned she also works at the North Providence store (1665 Mineral Spring Ave).Wow. What a great experience.

I have had my family's prescriptions filled by this pharmacy for the past 20 years. I will now be changing pharmacies. The pharmacy's change of hours has immensely impacted convenience. I attempted to be understanding. After the most recent incident with the incompetent pharmacy representative—I am now changing.I attempted to pick up my son's monthly prescription. Two profiles were in the system for him. She looked at the profile that did not have this prescription and told me the doctor had never provided. I created so much confuson with my son's doctors's office which led to hours on the phone with multiple staff members. The doctor's office called the pharmacy; discovered the issue; had to sit with the representative and walk her through in deleting the duplicate profile. The the process for this prescription needed to start all over again. I had to spend 3 hours rectifying this issue and wait another 3 days for this to be filled. Nevermind the multiple visits I made prior—but the pharmacy was closed. Then when I finally received the prescription and of course I was infuriated—your walgreen's pharmaceutical representative gives me dirty looks. My daughter was present and saw this adult behaving like this. Look at your cameras! I'm appalled. I have no interest to continue giving my business. This was the same representative who stated there wasn't any prescription for my son.

I had an emergency medication that I needed to pick up that my doctor called in today. The store pharmacy is supposed to be opened until 7pm. I got there around 6 pm and the pharmacy was closed. They got rid of all the pharmacy staff that was there when it was rite aid which was a great pharmacy. Walgreens is AWFUL. It is unacceptable for them to close without notice.
