What a horrible experience. This place is slow. Attitude filled. Will say they delivered or tried. And didn’t even try to knock just turned around. The USPS has gone down hill and nobody holds them accountable. Stop using them and they’ll actually care again

Postmaster lady, on the older side, tried to charge me for a box that was already paid for. To not delay people behind me, I paid for it again. She was EXTREMELY rude. Get a new Postmaster!

I was going through a lot when my building caught on fire, which caused my mail to be rerouted. I kept getting the runaround from both the North Kingstown and East Greenwich post office staff. One person would tell me my mail was at NK, so I’d drive there, only to be told it was actually in EG. It was incredibly frustrating and disorganized, adding even more stress to what I was already dealing with. However, Laureen was the one staff member who showed real empathy. She was incredibly supportive, compassionate, and truly followed through on her word. She worked through the confusion and made the whole process much smoother. Thank you, Laureen— I really hope this message gets to her!

Line of 8+ people at 130pm, which is expected. Only 1 person working. After waiting for almost 10 minutes with the first person in line still not done I had to leave and go to another post office as I was running there on my lunch break.

1 star.. Had to mail out a package to my sister and the heavy set lady at the front desk couldn’t be bothered. Very bad attitude problem every time I go in to drop a package off.. perhaps a manager would like to have a word with this woman.. I will go out of my way from now on to ship my sisters gifts across the street at the UPS store. Much better customer service over there…

Received totally inaccurate information from one of the clerks about what to do with a returned postal money order that was 10 months old and never cashed. I wasted hours trying to get the matter sorted out, then finally went to North Kingstown P.O. who immediately gave me my money back. I won't even get into the wait time in line at EG Post Office. Worse ever!

This has to be the worst post office in Rhode Island for customer service. Melissa, especially is always in a bad mood. She should either be retrained; or let go They don't give you the best rates or are very knowledgeable about their post . I'll go to UPS store in the future

On the fence on whether I should give this place a good rating, or a negative rating. Most of the time I pick a time where the staff, clerks and people are friendly and helpful. However, Melissa, the other day was bipolar. One minute she was saying, "have a blessed day," and the next minute she escalates and jumps down someone's throat for asking for tape for their pre-printed label. "I have emails telling me I am not allowed to give out tape. Nothing is for free at the post office, you have to pay for everything," she says. She even offered to the guy, to talk to her boss. Her words, "You can talk to my boss. He's a "joy", for sure." I think her boss's name was Josh. Honestly, it sounds like the people who work here are treated like dirt, and they have a chip on their shoulder because of it. Honestly, the postmaster, Kerry J Dean, should do something here. It borders on abuse to their employees and to the customers who get the brunt end of it.
