Dr Andrew Green strives for excellence. I had reverse replacement shoulder surgery July 2023. I expected the rehabilitation process to be painful & grueling. It was not, but it did demand patience. Dr. Green has a well defined and regimented protocol. If you follow you will achieve excellent results. He is a fabulous surgeon who truly cares about your progress. At Four months post op, I am pretty close to my full range of motion with no pain. My newly replaced shoulder feels as normal as the non surgical one. My best advise if in need, just do it!

I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Everyone I spoke to were professional and courteous. Dr. Green was thorough with the examination and explanation of the required procedure. Im not a first time patient and once again I feel confident, trusting and have the utmost confidence in my Dr.'s knowledge, experience and abilities.

Got straight to the point told me to stop PT (which was making me worse I agree( and gave me home exercises to do and see what happens in six weeks. Hoping for the best. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. Green answered all my questions during my appointment and took the time to make sure I understood his reasoning on whether or not I could do an activity. Dr. Green is concerned about my outcome and provides details to attain the results needed to reach my goals as a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Green for any shoulder/arm injury.

Dr Green performed a total reverse shoulder replacement on me. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I’m pain free! I highly recommend he and his staff. They are efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant.

Dr. Green is simply one of the finest surgeons in the country when it comes to shoulder repair. After a terrible injury and subsequent rotator cuff repair by Dr. Green 15 years ago, I was able to resume surfing, lifting weights and living my life of extreme sports. His repairs were lifetime strong and just this past year I was injured again (different injury at 58yrs old) wakeboarding and suffered and extremely rare double tendon rupture in my back (teres major). This is an extremely rare injury and Dr. Green did both sides in span of 5 weeks and had me back swimming, surfing and lifting in 4 months. I have personal firsthand experience with Dr. Green over 3 surgeries with exceptional results. I've read these reviews.. and while he admittedly may not have the personality of a country club manager, he is the finest surgeon, which should be your most important criteria.

Dr. Green is an excellent doctor. In my opinion the best shoulder doctor in the northeast, if not the country. He is very thorough & detail oriented. He truly cares about his patients & wants the best outcome for them. I highly recommend Dr Green without reservation.

I am grateful to Dr. Green for his dedication and research on shoulders. He is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I recently had a reverse shoulder replacement and I am very happy with the outcome. Dr. Green is the best of the best and is held in the highest regard amongst his peers. He is compassionate and a great communicator. My mother had a total shoulder replacement done by Dr. Green. She thought the world of him and her life was greatly enhanced after the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Green and his wonderful staff.

From the beginning Dr. Green and his staff were very polite and professional. All aspects of the office seem to run very smooth and appointment times were always on time (no waiting for the Dr. to arrive).In addition to his staff being efficient, his PA Casey is a very good asset to the team and always returns calls quickly. When talking to Dr. Green he always had well pointed answers and was more than willing to explain what was needed to help understand what was required from me to make my surgery a success. Can't ask for any better!

FRAUD ALERTThe surgical attendant misrepresented what Dr Green could do. When my parents arrived at his office after a three hour drive only to find out they didn’t perform the operation. Dr Green then treated them like trash and was very rude to them. Stay away from this Doctor.FRAUD ALERT!!!

I had a great experience as usual here at the University of orthopedics.They have a great staff . They were kind and courteous. Doctor Green answered all my questions and my surgery went great. He is the best shoulder surgeon in New England.The therapy staff is also the best in this area and I know because I have been to several different ones. Therapist Dan is bye far very knowledgeable and is top notch. He knows what therapy to give you and you get results!
