“Excellent experience!! When I talked over the phone for the first time with Bristol (owner) I knew this was the right place that I needed to go for what I was seeking.”
“Gallery Belleau is an absolute gem in providence! This glass gallery is without a doubt my favorite virtue glass shop I've ever visited. The owner, Christopher, and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delight. It's clear that Christopher pours his heart into his work. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to experience this stunning gallery. I can't wait to return!”
“Walked in to get a newspaper framed. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, picked a frame I wouldn't of thought of and the final result was just stunning. 10 out of 10.”

“Highly recommend! This place is way better than Michael’s and you’ll have a more personalized opportunity to find the right frame for your art. Staff is amazing. My frame turned out even better than I’d imagined!”
“A true treasure, perfect for unique gift shopping or home decorating. A place to pop in once in a while. The owners are very kind and love sharing the stories about the whereabouts of objects. Reasonable priced.”
“Excellent experience when you're looking to have a piece correctly framed!Very helpful staff to assist with the type of frame, color and glass. I have come here for years and never have been disappointed!”
“Phenomenal! We picked up a print while traveling and it’s now a masterpiece. The attention to detail is unsurpassed, the double frame and matting is gorgeous. We appreciate being heard, understanding where the print would be hung, surrounding decor etc. You made it easy for us and the end result is amazing. Thank you!!!”
“Wonderful galleries featuring local artists. I really enjoy their events. They make the public feel welcome despite it being a club. Some art is reasonably priced, and more accessible than art at other galleries. The buildings are also beautiful and fun to explore.”
“I held my wedding at Hope Events on Main in September 2024 and it went so well. The event coordinator was quick to respond to my very specific questions, and they were extremely helpful through each stage of wedding planning. From booking the venue, to being transparent about pricing & options, to our big day where every staff member was friendly and helpful! I would get married here over & over again, and our guests have not stopped talking about the venue. The pricing is extremely reasonable with a restaurant onsite, and the food was delicious! All of my outside vendors mentioned that Hope Events on Main was a great venue to work with, and that everything was taken care of. If you choose this venue, you will not regret it!”
“The RISD Woods-Gerry Gallery has wonderful high ceilings, beautiful historic interior details, and large expansive windows. The natural light just pours into the large rooms. The artists work showcased are diverse, eclectic, traditional and inspiring. The curators are spot on with their placement, collective continuity, and the balance of mediums. Visitors experience a flow from one space to another that promotes conversations about the pieces.Even when the gallery is full, visitors do not feel constricted or uncomfortable lingering at a certain peice that intrigue them.I highly recommend a trip. Openings are on Thursdays.”
“Sue made a beautiful pair of gold and silver wire earrings for my mom. I gave them to mom as a birthday present and she loves them! She wears them all the time. Sue is so talented and easy to work with. Very satisfied customer.”

“I have been painting at Art by You for many years. I have many beautiful platters, pitchers, and gifts I have gifted over the years. The owner is always so helpful and flexible with families with small children! I was even further impressed this past February School Vacation - prompting this review - when upon opening, her shop was filled immediately. She has around 28 seats and every table, except 2, was filled with people waiting patiently for her to get them supplies. However, the 2 empty tables were being "taken" by a rather large group that were asking questions about the paint policy. (Every person must paint.) And were loudly deciding if they wanted to stay. While this was happening, lines of smaller groups were coming in. The owner had to politely turn away three small families while this group was walking around actively whisper-insulting the owner. After about 15 minutes, a 4th family walked in. The owner informed them she was full and the new customers pointed to the two empty tables. The mother asked if she could sit there and the owner informed them that the large group was sitting there. The mother said she would wait, and one of the women in the large group heard and scoffed at the owner. The owner then had to ask the large group if they were painting. That's when the family decided to leave. It was clear the owner was frustrated and I believe she handled it very well considering the way she was being treated. The other two tables were filled immediately and many customers apologized to the owner on behalf of the large group after their departure. She has my business for as long as she is open! As a teacher, people in the industry are often mistreated. It's a shame that this mistreatment is shifted to business owners during school vacations. Please be mindful that employees are people who deserve our respect. Visit Art by You for a calming and fun crafting experience.”
“I've ordered several prints of my watercolor artwork as gifts for friends and family over the years and io always does an incredible job. The paper and print quality are lovely and they have been very helpful when I've had questions. Looking forward to working with them on future projects. Thank you for doing your work so beautifully and intentionally!”
