Can't reach the Pharmacy by phone, leave a message? Store hours Post it here Don't match hours on their recording? My medication is always out of stock, very rude pharmacy. Nothing good about this pharmacy even the prices are ridiculous. Never a person at the front counter when you want to check out. CVS is really going downhill in every way. I recommend finding a local mom and pop pharmacy that can answer the phone fill your order and give you a smile.

This place needs to get their act together. (1) One of my prescriptions expired and CVS informed me that my physician decided not to renew it. That was fine with me. Yet two weeks later, they notified me I had a prescription to pick up - it turned out to be from the expired prescription. When I informed them about this, they directed me to the drug disposal place in the store, "just put it in the slot", as if this is something that happens every day. (2) With another prescription they kept refilling it more than needed, I wound up with a 6 months supply. (3) Their automatic pay station often does not work, you have to wait for a manager with a key to come over to fix it. I thought I would never say it, but this place is as bad as Stop&Shop and worse than the mess called Target. I am done with CVS, Walgreens also has a store on Newport Avenue, I am transferring all my prescriptions there.

The reviews saids it all and they won’t work to become better. Probably the most inconvenient pharmacy in Rhode Island, everyone has an actitud for absolutely no reason, nothing it’s ready on time if you decide to visit this location be prepared for a bad experience.

I would not recommend this pharmacy to fill any prescriptions at any time. They are the worst. I waited 20mins for the prescription and they knew I was waiting for the script however after they filled it they did not tell me. I waited an additional 20 minutes after it was made because the pharmacist did not have the decency to tell me is was ready when I was sitting in plain view. This is not the first time this has happened, and unfortunately this will not be the last. The only reason I go here is because it is close to home and my insurance covers it. I’m switching to a new location ASAP. Highly recommend that you do not waste anytime at this horrible location.

Avoid this pharmacy like the plague. Wish I would have read the reviews before scheduling a Covid test at this location. This particular pharmacy seems to have a litany of issues.I scheduled a Covid test 5 days before my surgery, that I waited months to get in for. I never received the results I was supposed to get that same day. The next day, a Saturday, I spent half the day trying to get my results sent me so I have them for the surgery, as required. I even went into the store to see if it could be straightened out in person. They're saying it's an IT issue. From what I can tell the pharmacist entered the wrong phone number, so it kicks it back as a non-authorized entry when my (correct) number is entered. They told me to wait until the end of the day to see if IT can take care of it. The store is closed now, so I'm just going to schedule another test at another pharmacy. People this incompetent should not be running a pharmacy.

CVS is great for prescriptions! But pricey for other retail products. When they have a Sale on a item it is good. The stores are clean and available throughout the neighborhoods.

I was unaware that I dropped my key chain with all my store cards. Brian found them, looked up my phone number and called my home before I knew I had lost them. Brian went the extra mile. People like Brian give CVS a good name. Thank you Brian.

I came to this pharmacy (drive thru) to pick up 4 prescriptions sent by my doctor. When I arrive I was told the medication was not ready but, they would have it ready within 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later to pick them up and they were ready (so I assumed). Because the technician was having issues with my card which was not the pharmacy’s fault I had to provide a different card for payment and left without checking the medications until after I got home. When I got home I realized only 3 of the 4 medication was given. I contacted the pharmacy and was told the medication was an over-the-counter medication and was not covered by my insurance. I then asked “so because of that I couldn’t get the medication along with the others?” The employee informed that I can go back through the drive thru and pay for it there but I stated no as it would be my 3rd time going there.I’m writing this review because although they stated that the medication was an over-the-counter medication and not covered by my insurance, one of my other meds was as well and they were able to get that one but not the other? The image is the one I did receive. Customer service was just bad.

Find another pharmacy. This place takes forever. I called 5 hours ahead only to get there to find out my prescription was not ready. Don't bother with the drive through. I walked in and still waited 20 mins.

I came here for my Covid booster shot. The vaccine area was dirty and the pharmacy rep when I checked in and talked to about it didn't seem to care. What I did get from our exchange was that they (the other staff) nor she was going to clean it up. And I quote "well... the chair is clean". Uuuuuhhhh I'll pass. So I left and rescheduled somewhere else. Gone are the days when a pharmacy's top priority was wellness first and holiday novelties second. At this store it seemed to be the other way around. Plenty of holiday decor, not holiday/professional decorum. I called CVS customer service and am still waiting for follow up. SMH.
