Put down a deposit on a Wrangler "In Transit" and waited 6 weeks. Got a phone call from Richard saying its been SOLD to somebody else. How could this be? They located another one with same options in CT. That vehicle never arrived, (Unless they sold that one on me too)This was our 5th vehicle with Elmwood in 9 years. We have yet to have our deposit refunded to us, only this morning after texting Richard that I will be contacting Attorney General office did I receive a call back.... Stay away from Elmwood.

Horrible Sales Experience!! Like terrible. I spent months trying to find the Jeep Grand Cherokee of my dreams and thought I found it here. Well I was completely deceived. Upon entering the dealership, the Salesman that I worked with basically ran out of the door in the most desperate kind of way possible. Then, after test driving the vehicle, we came back to the dealership where he presented me a Auto Check from Experian report that showed the Jeep to be in perfect shape- never having an accident....... I got the purchase and Sales agreement and went on my way. Well, thank GOD for my smart choice to ALWAYS USE MY OWN BANK AND NEVER EVER USE IN HOUSE DEALER FINANCING because they were the ones that pulled a different Experian Auto Check report that showed it had been in a SEVERE ACCIDENT. Literally listed everything the dealership showed me, EXCEPT my bank seen the accident????? Ummmm weird huh??? So when I confronted the Salesman, Matt... he got very frustrated and defensive and yelled at me, stated that he "didn't have to deal with this on his day off" and hung up! It was very annoying to say the least. Either way, if you are considering this dealership for a used vehicle- make sure you pull your OWN CAR FAX reports before hand or you might get sold something you'll regret like I almost did...

I had a great experience thanks to Ethan Silva. He is very personable and a great salesman. If you are looking to buy a car then hit him up.

Had no issues buying new Dodge City Ram sale went fairly easy. Service department needs to get their act together. We scheduled a warranty appointment 2 weeks out for 8am so we dropped off van at 7:45 am that day then returned at 4:30 pm then tell me we didn't look at would you like to make another appointment? I will never go back there again. Just so you know it was 2 safety issues.

They returned my car with a big new gouge in the front bumper (after having done a careful walk around when I dropped my car off to confirm there was no damage when I dropped it off). They were shady and rude-took zero responsibility for what they had obviously done. No professionalism, no morals, no pride in what they do. Don't take your car here unless you are ok paying for whatever damage they do to it yourself.

I very rarely post bad reviews, but I feel this time I have no choice. I had work scheduled to be done on my Cherokee and I took it to Elmwood as I had bought the vehicle there and I needed warranty work done on it. One of the parts I needed was a rear differential. I dropped it off and went off with a loaner car as I needed a vehicle to drive in the meantime. I figure it may take a few days - maybe a week or so to get in the part... it took over TWO MONTHS! This is no exaggeration. At first it was ... "it'll be in a week", then that date would pass and they would give me another date.... then that date would pass.I had no choice but to drive the loaner car for this long... when it was all said and done they stuck me with an $1800+ rental bill. They told me that Chrysler was being unbending as far as rental fees and that there was nothing I could do except try to file a claim directly with them. (Like really? They aren't giving breaks for rental fees but somehow they are going to approve my rental fee claim???)To charge someone this amount of money for a rental just because Elmwood couldn't get the part in within a timely manner is just purely unethical. I had no choice - I needed a car to drive and it was a situation that was completely outside of my control. I have a very difficult time believing that they had no control over the bill. If they can't get the parts in a timely manner a flat fee should have been discussed - not keep whacking someone $40/day. I purchased a warranty to ensure that I'd be covered in the event of repairs, but they still found a way to charge me almost $2000!And then top it all off they were supposed to perform the state emissions inspection and didn't do it. Since they had the car so long - I now got a DMV notice that says my registration is going to be suspended if the inspection is not complete. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing a Chrysler vehicle ever again... let alone be going to Elmwood.

Was quoted a price over the phone for a car so me and my wife drove down from Boston to buy it, when we got there they tried to charge us $2k more. What a bunch of scumbags.

Thrilled. Went to another Jeep dealership earlier this year, they made me wait for hours for just an oil change. Literally held me hostage while they spent hours verifying my service plan. Elmwood had me in and out in less than an hour. Everyone was masked up, kept nice distance. It's a little farther from my home but worth it to not be dragged through the mud.Thank you, Emily for your help! We will be back!
