I can't recommend this veterinary clinic enough! They are always prompt in responding to any questions or concerns, which is so reassuring as a pet owner. They take amazing care of my chiweenie and truly treat him like one of their own. Every visit feels personal, and I know my dog is in good hands. Whether it's a routine check-up or something more urgent, I always leave feeling confident that my pet is receiving the best care possible. Thank you for your dedication and professionalism!

I called for an appointment for my 2 dogs, sent them records, and then they emailed me that their not taking on new patients. They SUCK. THEY SAID THEY NEVER RECIEVED THEM.

Such a great team, every time I go I get treated with respect,dignity and like a pet parent. They ask lots of follow up questions and offer phenomenal health related advice without making it seem like everything is a category 10.

Have taken four dogs there since we moved to the area and at first didn’t have any issues but has been declining over the last year. One of my dogs has epilepsy and needs medication ever day.. have had nothing but an issue trying to refill every month. Have to spend an arm and a leg(over $500) every 6 months just to get blood work which seems a little crazy. Apparently only have one doctor working there and the week that she decided to take vacation the office NEVER called stating they wouldn’t be able to see anyone that week so had to go to an emergency vet which saved my dogs life. They were extremely rude and didn’t even attempt to help or make the situation and better. After going to the emergency vet they stated that it was about the 10th complaint they’ve heard from gansett. Very frustrating when you try to call them and they don’t pick up the phone or tell you they’ll call back and never do. The new pup needed an appointment that takes less then 5 minutes for a distemper shot and have been told it’ll be over 3 weeks and he’ll need to redo his round of shots.. I’m paying them money continuously and to not even get any help from them or advice on what we should do isn’t right. I know a lot of vets are backed up but it’s been 4 years of going here so for them to just not care is not right.

Would never step foot in this place ever again and if u care about ur pet u won't either they r rude and terrible at what they do they Absolutely do not care about ur pet it's all about the money at this place brang my dog in found out she is diabetic they prescribed vetsulin that cost $63 a bottle made me believe that was the only kind she could have and after months later and $1000s of dollars for test and meds and them threatening not to give me anymore unless I got her a $700 test every 2 months I finally switched to a real vet to find out there is better insulin at Walmart for $24 a bottle shame on these people

Absolutely unacceptable! Gansett Animal Hospital has given us multiple bad experiences. The staff is beyond rude, and they’ve canceled on us multiple times, including one scheduled surgery for our senior dog while we were already on our way to the appointment.
To add to the rude staff, we received an email about this post! Brianna, a staff member, wrote in my dog's medical file that I was rude and had written a negative Google review on them when I informed them we were switching vets. We are currently waiting for a call from management to discuss this matter further.

EDIT: Given their response they also do not take accountability for their actions. To suggest I have the wrong business is just plain ignorant, I know where I’ve been going and most importantly I know what my bank statement says: GANSETT ANIMAL HOSPITAL.

I find it very distasteful that my best friends ashes were loosely put in his urn. On top of that I wasn’t satisfied with the urn he came in which is what prompted me to open his current urn, I was planning on transferring his ashes to a completely different urn. When I opened his to do this, my heart sank. I was nearly in tears when I heard his ashes grinding into the rim of the urn. His ashes just loosely thrown in there carelessly. I’ve had a couple pets cremated previously and they have always been in a plastic bag within the urn. Now I will not be able to transfer 100% of my best friend to his final resting place. I will never do business with Gansett animal hospital again.

Staff is always super nice and accommodating. Parking lot can be very tight to get in and put of, especially if they are busy.
