Way too small for the area, terrible selection of produce. Overpriced. Outdated. Promote sales that aren't even in stock. No Easter hams all easter weekend. Store is an absolute JOKE. This town has had it’s population reach an all time high, and we can’t even stock this mart properly.

Overpriced. Cramped design. Lack of cashiers. Small selections, meats and produce especially. A few years ago I was over charged here from the displayed prices on items at FOUR consecutive visits. Hope that store shutters soon, East Bay needs a certain Market with a Basket if you get my drift.

I honestly hate this location . Every-time i do the online ordering everything is out of stock and they say its because they ran out of time and just marked it as out of stock . I don't have time to go food shopping during the week and i do delivery because it helps but now i have to go food shopping . They gave me expired bread . I feel as tho they don't care about the online ordering .

I can’t say enough about the customer service at this store. Keith in customer service is amazing just a really genuinely nice guy and super professional, he went above and beyond any customer service I have received in any supermarket, or store for that matter with our online order today. I hope these reviews are read by corporate because Keith is someone that should be recognized for the outstanding job he does as since Covid due to short staffing, and overworked employees professional customer service is almost forgotten today everywhere you go. I have always been happy with the Willette Ave. Riverside store, however Keith just showed me exceptional customer service does still exist. Thank you again for all your help.Sincerely, D. Dalton

I’ve honestly had it with this location and their online ordering. My days are 12 hours long so I do this to better help myself and be more efficient with my time. Every single time I pick up an order there’s something “ out of stock” and supposedly so is the alternative I provided. But I’ve purposely gone inside the store after getting my order and found the “out of stock” item they claim is not available in SURPLUS. Like HOW? And If I do this through the Shaws location in Fall River because I work in that city, they actively call me as they are shopping to let me know “hey we don’t have this or the alternative. Is there something else?” It’s SMART customer service they have that this place doesn’t. I literally go to Shaws almost every week but if I’m shopping in riverside, I’ll no longer go here. It’s just frustrating. Especially when no one answers the phone for me to address the issue. Yes I can obviously go inside and do my own shopping. I know someone with say that. But if this option is available and it’s keeping people PAID and EMPLOYED why wouldn’t you want to excel in it? We already have self check out taking away jobs. Cmon.

I always get my meats and produce from Shaws, they always have good deals on meat and their staff is excelkent. Their produce is always fresh and better than most super markets. They also have a good seafood dept. I love the snail salad there and sometimes get the Cod. Overall I think Shaws is a pretty good market that carries all your needs.

Working here for the past 4+ years has shown/taught me more than i could've asked for, I have seen alot of improvements with the staff which really helped create a postive work enviroment, that alone helps increase productivity, improve moods and help motivate those around. With the abundance of new products hitting the shelves I see nothing but better things instore for the future!

Smaller size, parking lot entrance needs repaveing, not a huge produce selection, but its close and convenient to my home.Staff are friendly, hours are reasonable and clean.

They went out of their way to be helpful recently to ready some hard to find rhubarb for me. Other stores were out. A very good produce department at this store.

I found this Shaw's a bit smaller than some of the other ones in the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area...still it does have all the basic items you need. All the sale items on their flyer were available.This time I also wanted to get some Carbs, and I was pleased to see the large variety of rices, quinoa and other starches that help fill you up...yes, I do enjoy a vegetarian meal from time to time, but I do need to have my starches, even if it's in a reduced amount.The prices per unit weight are higher than a discount store or a Asian market, but they do have a lot of specialty options.The self checkout was easy and painless...
