Can't cash my payroll check thats dated tomorrow? I received the check today and it cleared the payroll company yesterday. Made me wait 15 minutes for some bs excuse that they cant cash the check because they didnt have money in the drawer. Save ur time and dont shop here. Btw they had 1 register open and the line was backed up so bad. You can shop here but be prepared to waste your time and money. Better off going to walmart

The East Providence, one is so expensive. You think they go by demographics? Because this is not a rich area, by any means, their prices are through the roof try to avoid this place. I can't afford itđ¤Ł
One thing I know are my prices. I've seen prices lower at whole foods market than I have seen at this Shaws..
Their prices are insane here.I think they price gouge

I LOVE this store! I was looking for Coffee milk and spilt it all over myself and manager Timmy helped me clean myself up! He is truly a life savior! Thank you Timmy Swiss who has a boat in his neighborhood! I wish it looked like this one tho!

My husband and I had a horrible experience at the deli. We ordered one slice of different meats because thatâs all we needed and the heavyset guy in the deli was super rude. He was so upset that we were only ordering one slice of different meats. He started slamming things and throwing things up on the counter after slicing the meats then proceeded to talk about us to his coworkers stating âcome on really one sliceâ and a bunch of other things I wonât say. I donât understand why he was so upset when thatâs what heâs being paid to do. Thankfully I was able to calm my husband down and we paid and left because this was so disrespectful and uncomfortable and thankfully I donât have to frequent this location. Very nasty and rude but Iâm honestly not surprised. Beware if youâre not ordering more than enough meat for one sandwich.

I couldn't stay, for very long. My throat, started drying out and I couldn't breathe very well. I'm sooo surprised that no one else, has complained or hasn't been affected by HVAC system filters, being dirty. Those filters being the way they are. The contaminanted, affect, to many without their knowing, will have respiratory issues.in the near future From built up mold, bacteria, all types of growth. I feel sorry for the workers, that are enjoying the cold air.
Not even realizing they're at a health risk. The sad part is, the management doesn't even have them check. Look up, there and see, how bad, that they are getting, that they turning black. I did report it to a so called manager. But, he had no indication, like a badge or anything. For all that I know, he could've been cashier.
Well I am going to go back in a few days and if they did nothing about it. I will report them to R.I. Department of Health. They may not care, but I do.

Small store = less product selection and often common items NOT on shelf. Resulting in making a trip to another store (not always Shaw's) which is a hassle.

The store has a very strange setup. I will admit that it was my first time going to this Shawâs and there is always a small learning curve to going to a new store. However, I have been to other Shawâs and they usually flow better. The Shawâs app does help some with the store map, but it doesnât really make up for the confusing layout.
This store had household supplies and stationary in the middle aisles of the store surrounded by food. There were tons of refrigerators along the outer walls but only two or three aisles of freezers. The freezers were nearly full but had mostly the same items with a very small variety.
The produce department is also almost another store. It is basically partitioned off from the rest of the store with the bakery.
If Starbucks is your preferred coffee shop, there is tons of seating for it. I actually think there is more seating here than there is at most standalone Starbucks.
I canât really fault them for this, as nearly all companies have similar problems, but there has to be over 15 registers but only three or four were open at 4 pm. I was actually surprised that there were so many registers and so few self checkout in comparison.

Everything was fine until Ana the bagger she was putting 2 items in a large paper bag and not bagging my soda .. when I asked her for a bag for the soda she opened a paper bag and slid it to me saying here you go.. won't go back that was rude and sarcastic

Great selection and quality food. Expensive relative to Aldi or Price Rite, but you get what you pay for.

Im reviewing based off of the shaws orders i have a newborn at home and ive been very sick the last two months of my pregnancy so ive been shopping through the app and its been easy but the last two orders i have made and i shop every week has been terrible they cant find things that they definitely have in stock they just cant find it i presume because my husband went in for me to get that stuff.. its there that i need and my eggs have been broken this time i had 5 eggs broken from my 18 pack and i ask them everytime to check for cracks which they are not doing eggs are not cheap anymore! My order before that the chicken nugget package was ripped terribly that i had to throw away from a 32 oz and my eggs were also cracked. Lets not forget ordering fruit they have been giving me the worst ones so i havent been ordering except apples.
