While the initial estimate for a short move was, admittedly, very high, they wound up doing the job for less than a third of the initial asking price. They were very friendly and professional, and finished the job with plenty of time to spare. If you're in the CT/RI/MA region, I'd highly recommend them.

These people know their stuff. They are professional, respectfull and careful. We could not have asked for a better experience or price. They have only just started with our move with a very large woodworking shop that they moved an hour away. After that experience today we have absolutely no concerns about their moving our home in the near future. Another review will be coming soon after. Thanks to Lynn, Mike for your careful review and expertise and thanks to Tim, Curtis, Kevin and Cody for taking such good care of the shop for us.

Truly the best moving company in New England. They do a lot of the moving jobs for URI, so they were the first company I thought of when I needed personal moving services. I have met many of their staff over the years. All of the staff (sales, office, managers, drivers, movers, etc.) are polite and professional. They are super efficient too. I hope I don't have to move again, but if I do, I am calling Astro!!!

This goes back to a residential move domes years back. I praised the organization and criticized management and prices. I received a price for storage that was $100. a month less than the actual charge that I paid. My move was traumatic ; I had 10 days to move from a 3500 sqft fully furnished home, with expensive collections, because a septic tank problem put the sale on hold. But when it resumed the new owners would not change the original move out date. It was chaotic and in the confusion , I forgot to arrange insurance. Both furniture and sculptures arrived with inexplicable damage- a limestone 84” column was broken in half!. I received NOTHING.Instead of owner expressing any regret, he went into a full on rant about “ the owner” being disorganized, etc., All my fault. Did that include the damages, too???They were very expensive- I still have the paperwork. I never responded to his diatribe about what apparently was all my doing, so here it is now , just to clarify. And no, I wasn’t done any favors. if you were busy, you would not have come.

We had a very positive experience. From Lynn who came out to price and estimate the job to the three gentlemen who actually moved the belongings. Very efficient fast and safe. I recommend them to anybody

Josh, Jared and Chris were amazing. They arrived on time and were happy to help my family move. Josh was the lead and he was professional. My move was was set up with Lynne who was very thorough, understanding and gave me a reasonably priced quote that the movers abided by in timing. I highly recommend this company.

I didn't actually use them for our move, which was too small and last minute for the level of service they provide, but they were SO nice and helpful. I talked to the salesperson who explained their thorough process, and I would use them in the future if I had a chance, but since it did not work out this time, he gave me names of 2 other moving companies and one of them worked. I thought he was extremely professional and got a very good impression.

We used Astro of New England for the 4th time this past week, and the guys from Astro again made our move fairly painless. On short notice (only 2 a week before the move date) they sent Curt over to look at our house and estimate the effort required. He was helpful, prompt, and very professional. We got a quote a business day later, and the cost made sense to us. The movers arrived to box us up on Thursday, it was quick and they were done much earlier than I thought they would. They worked hard, treated our stuff with care, and were professional. The next day they packed up the truck, moved to our new home, and unpacked quickly. Our move ended up costing a bit less than the estimate. I would gladly recommend Astro of New England to family and friends.

My move went very smoothly last Tuesday, 5/28. Anthony, Julian, and Chris showed up on time and were fantastic from start to finish. They made sure everything fit into my storage unit and were very cautious with my things. Also, Astro booked my move very last minute (5 days notice) after Gentle Giant bailed on me.

There is NO other company i would prefer and trust more than astro! All of the workers that i had were phenomenal, they were very professional, on time, friendly, and they all had very wonderful personalities! Very strong young men that go above and beyond for you and your needs, they had positive attitudes the entire time, very funny and laid back men that definetly took some of the stress and anxiety off of my shoulders because the whole moving process is beyond stressful, but they came into my home and showed nothing but respect and made the move seem fun like they do this in their sleep! I will always recommend astro to everyone and anyone!

They came into my home to give an estimate, and wasn't judgemental at all. They we almost right on with the price estimate. In fact, we overpaid a little and will receive a small refund back! I had them send a couple of guys to help pack up some things before the loading the next day. They were awesome! On Sunday, the loading team arrived and every single one was professional and extremely helpful. Great attitudes, and made loading up a 3000 Sq ft home plus a garage and attic much less stressful! They worked well together and worked hard. My house was loaded up in no time! I even called Astros and asked about tipping, if it was a normal practice. They helped by figuring out a good range to tip. The guys at my house were very grateful for the pizzas I ordered for lunch, and for the tips I handed out. I would 100% go through them again to move. I have no regrets on who I chose to help us. There was another company with a lower estimate, but I just had a good feeling about using Astros.
