I enjoy seeing the pictures of the bay that you post. The launchings are fun to watch as well. I thought the picture of Mr Clark repairing the transom on a big wooden boat was amazing. All though I'm far away for now, soon I'll be sitting on a rock watching all these things in person. But for now it's like being there. Thanks for all you post. I truly love Jamestown and all that is offered there. I have inclosed my own classic 1977 Glastron. It's a one owner time capsule. The interior is mint! Like it's never been sat in. It was covered in a climate control garage in FL The motor is a 1998 with 3 hours on it. I just had the trailer customer built for it.

Not many of these Mom and Pop Marinas left. There is a long tradition of family like relationships here. The location stunning.

Nice family run yard. U fortunately only a boat 5ft draft at the end of the floating dock.

Excellent service. Eager to please. A beautiful location. Don't know who the negative Nellies are but I am guessing they don't like much of anything.

I bought a boat that happened to be here when purchased. I had Clarks do routine launching, storing, winterizing etc. I also had them do a fairly complex rewiring job which included new batteries, alternator, etc. I was very happy with the work. All was on time and on price. In fact I'd like to quote the surveyor (and many others) who said after viewing the new battery box and wiring "That's a work of art!". Highly recommended!

I am launching my boat after being on hard for several years and have hauled it to Clarks for final prep and commissioning. They could not be more helpful, knowledgeable and user friendly. Unlike some other yards, this yard is not pretentious, snobby or exorbitant and I have had no issue doing the minor projects that I wanted to do myself. The common goal appears to be to get the boat in the water so the fun can begin. Other yards work at their own pace and schedule and make you feel like they are doing you a favor. Also, other folks are in the yard getting their boats ready and it is a friendly and helpful lot. This is the place for the recreational boater or cruiser. Thank you.

"A superb yard, staffed with knowledgeable, honest people. They combine efficiency, quality of service and responsiveness in a way that I have never experienced with any other yard. Whatever the issue, it's never a problem for these folks. And to top it off, everyone I've dealt with at Clark Boat Yard is incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with; you feel like you are with family. I moor my boat in Newport harbor, but I make a point of sailing across the East Passage to Jamestown to store my boat and to have work done on it. I cannot recommend Clark Boat Yard strongly enough." -United Kingdom

Looked at a boat at Clark's that was for sale by a private owner. The work the owner undertook was far over his head and beyond his ability. Bottom line, Sara and Gary Clark helped broker an arrangement, the vessel was not destroyed for scrap, I am salvaging and refitting the sloop, in my family tradition. I know that when the vessel is completed, it will make the Clark family proud. The Clark Boat Works is like being home for me, in that Dyer tradition, do it once do it right! "If you don't go here your nuts!" You can quote me!
