Was highly skeptical of wrapping vs. painting my boat, but after meeting with Cary and Dennis the choice was obvious. Cary is highly meticulous of his work, knows the product properties, specifications and nuances of the application extremely well. I love to ask questions, often too many at times - Cary was patient, highly responsive and explained every step along the way. Needless to say, the boat looks stellar and am proud of the work. 57 foot power boat: GT3 did a vinyl wrap of the hull of our boat in February 2024.
We are very, very happy with the outcome. It exceeded our expectations. It was a VERY good decision to do the vinyl wrap.
This summer's trip was particularly demanding on the vinyl wrap. We travelled from Maine to the Great Lakes via the Erie Canal (26 locks) Then through the Great Lakes via the Trent Severn Waterway (47 locks). We ended in Duluth, MN. This covered 2,550 NM, 74 locks and innumerable anchorings and dockings. The vinyl wrap got quite a stress test, particularly with all the locks. There are two specific observations that stand out and are worth noting.
(1) Durability of the vinyl wrap: This point was biggest, happy surprise: The 74 locks, plus the many dockings we made while waiting for the lock to open or spending a night at a lock (the locks on the Trent Severn are run by the Canadian park service and are set up for you to tie up outside the lock for the evening) really tested the vinyl wrap. We used 4 inflatable fenders for the locks and for docking. We typically went through 4 to 6 locks a day. We cleaned the fenders in the evening. We generally did not clean the hull until we completed a canal or waterway. After all those locks and docks, there was not a scratch on the vinyl wrap!! We were amazed. This is really impressive and far exceeded our expectations.
(2) Comments from other boaters, lock tender staffs, marina staffs, and people at docks/marinas: We have had the boat for 4 seasons. In the previous three seasons we would occasionally get comments from other knowledgeable boaters primarily about the functionality and capabilities of the boat. But nothing particular about the appearance. The hull simply looked its age. With the vinyl wrap this summer, it was a radically different experience. Across the board everywhere we went, we got many, many comments about the appearance of the boat. From passersbys to experienced mariners, universally the comments were about how good the boat looked. People would stop on the dock and look at it, then engage us in conversation. Many times we were asked if we just bought a new boat. Observers were stunned to hear it was 24 years old. This included people that see a lot of boats, like lock tender staff, marina staff, and other boat owners. At least 10 times, various friends of ours who were not on the trip found pictures of our boat that we were not aware other people had taken that were posted on various forums on the internet. It never ceased to amaze us how many compliments we got about the appearance of the boat. This is 100% due to the vinyl wrap.

Cary is the nicest and most relaxed guy. I asked him to match a trim piece on an old car using a vinyl sticker and he did it exactly like the original. Precise and perfect. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. I’ve also seen the shop and can tell you he can do any vinyl job for your car, boat or business.

Solid work and fast! They came out to put a vinyl black roof on my car and it looks sharp. Granted, its wasn't a huge job but it was done well, fast and they came to me to do it! Doesn't get any better than that eh? Anyway's attached are my before and after photos.
