I have probably cast over 1000 pieces with Harrison since 2016, and am shocked by how severely this company went downhill. When I was first recommended to Harrison in 2016 I was warned that the quality was low, but my experience for the first 4 years was fine, and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the quality plummeted around 2020 and so did the customer service. My pieces came back cracked, porous, with large divots and sometimes strange blotches of color that couldn’t be polished out. Rings which had been absolutely fine for years got to a point where 80-90% of the shanks cracked when I tested them on my mandrel with a light rawhide, despite having them annealed. They were defensive whenever I or my polisher mentioned these issues. When I started sending my originals over to Racecar, they became upset and said they were going to send all of them to me, which I was fine with, but half of my originals were missing from the package. They attributed it to the models being older, which is not true because two of my newest pieces were not included. Katie told me to put together a PDF of the items missing with images because it was a "waste of time to look for them if they didn't know what they looked like," because they don’t store all of their customers’ originals together (WHY??). When I sent an organized PDF of names, images, and mold IDs of the originals that were missing, Bill Harrison personally kicked me out of his casting house and said he did not have the originals, because “sometimes they send them back unless they go to another place first” (not true, especially because several of the pieces missing had always gone directly to the polisher. They have absolutely no system for organization, and are unapologetic about it, and the quality is extremely poor and unreliable. I'll follow this up with photos of the broken pieces / pieces with divots and deep lines that could not be polished out.

I am by far not a big customer in regards to pieces I need but this owner is engaging, friendly and helpful. I will always use Harrison Casting.

I have been working with Harrison Casting for years and it's been a joy. They have always had great communication with me and even in the rare instance when something wasn't perfect Bill worked with me to offer me a credit. I refer others in the industry to them because while I don't provide a ton of business personally as my jewelry business is small, they always treat me with the same respect they would to a larger account doing a higher volume.

Very friendly and accommodating. The work is very good and the pricing is quite reasonable. They're my " go to" place for casting.

I used Harrison Casting for all of my casting needs while completing my BFA. They are one of the few companies that is willing to work both with students, and in small quantities. My former boss, a well known art jeweler, also uses Harrison's for her work and Harrison's products are always of quality. Harrison's is a family run business and that is apparent in their interactions with their customers. Bill is always willing to offer advice about projects and explain the casting process. They care about their customers and the work they do for them. I recommend Harrison Casting to students and business owners alike.

Beware of their poor communication and unprofessional behavior. I worked with Harrison for many years and have had many ups and downs. I started using them less and less over the years. I sent Harrison a box containing roughly 150 hours of fragile waxwork and UPS attempted to deliver it but Harrison would not accept the box. It was a 90degree day and the waxes should not be out and about for too long. I had emailed and called to let them know the box was coming, and I mentioned the details of the contents, but no response. I had no reason to think that they would turn my work away as they had never done this previously, over 25 years. Every time they said that they needed to raise their prices I responded no problem, I understand. There were times that Bill cautioned me about the pieces that he could and could not cast and I respected his wishes. As time passed though I grew tired of his unpredictable temper and just sent them work occasionally. This time I assumed that they were just busy and unable to respond to my emails or calls. It did not cross my mind that they were giving me the "silent treatment" instead of merely saying that they were unable to take on the job. As far as I knew all was fine as I had sent many of my students to them recently and not too long ago Bill and I communicated about casting these very pieces. He told me of a new larger flask that he had purchased so that he could do my larger work. Talk about mixed signals!

My one of a kind waxwork (no molds made for production, all just one-offs) was stuck in limbo somewhere and Bill Harrison couldn't care less. It was a very unprofessional upsetting end, it was juvenile and unnecessary and a simple return phone call or email would have been a much more considerate approach. It was a deeply disturbing experience leaving me to conclude that they cannot be trusted!

DO NOT USE this casting company if you run a jewelry business. They RUINED over 75 of our original molds. Bill is a nice guy and all but he only has experience in small parts casting, and doesn't have the proper equipment for jewelry castings. My business partner and I sent all of our pristine RTV molds to him last summer. Every time we would receive a new order of castings from him, the quality kept getting worse and worse. To the point where we were getting returns from our customers. We decided that it was best to pull all of our molds and set up with a different casting vendor. Bill was very polite about the whole thing, and even returned our molds very quickly. Once the molds arrived back, I was in shock of the condition they were in. Bill had these molds for no more than 8 months, and they looked like they had been buried in the ground for 20 years. It all made sense as to why the quality of our castings we were receiving were so bad. Our molds were obviously not stored properly, and were used with an injector that burned all of the front ends. All of our molds are made with jewelry industry standard RTV and sprue openings, and the wax machine they use is obviously not meant for these molds. Not to mention, any molds Bill made for us, will not be accepted by any other jewelry casting vendors because he does not use these same standards/materials. Our business is currently at a standstill as we have to re-make all of the original molds that were ruined by Harrison Casting Co. I will not be using this company ever again, and I advise you to do the same.
