Extremely friendly and polite staff. Actual lifting areas, plenty of squat racks. Great atmosphere. People are there to workout, and it's clean.

Good gym. Friendly & helpful staff. Been coming for a few weeks and I’m using it for bodybuilding style workouts but they have everything for lifting heavy and athletic training too and also personal trainers if thats your thing. I trained at Ocean State Gym before it closed, this ones got similar equipment and environment. Locker room could use a renovation but who’s really complaining. Good place whether you like to train hard or you’re new to exercising. I recommend coming here if you’re serious about lifting or starting a routine.

I have been working out at this gym for a bit over a year now... Maybe closer to a year and a half and I am shocked at the stars that this gym has. 2 stars is much too low. I have had a very positive experience here, one of the first days I work out here on my was very cheerfully greeted by a number of the staff and it hasn't changed since. The trainers, aside from one who seems to be friendly with everyone aside from me, are very nice and welcoming. In the time that I have been here there has only been one piece of equipment that broke and it was fixed within a few weeks . Members will chat a little bit if you want to but will also leave you be to do your work out if you're not the type of person to jib jab at the gym. The only thing keeping me from rating the gym five stars is that while there is plenty of equipment to do whatever workouts you want to, it is still a limited selection and the parking situation is not great. I have never had to park in a completely different location, but sometimes getting parking in the industrial complex is a bit of a hassle.

Great trainers, great owners, everything you need, and turf too. Parking is limited.

For bodybuilding, powerlifting, and Olympic lifting, this place is towards the top of the heap as far as gyms in R.I.. But from a grander perspective, they could be one of the best bodybuilding gyms if they invested a little time and money into refreshing their equipment. Wear and tear certainly adds character to a gym, and older equipment is generally better than the new stuff, but this gym is leaning towards signs of neglect. Otherwise, as I said, if you’re located in central R.I. and need a place to seriously train, this gym is perfect and has everything you’d need. A GENEROUS number of squat racks, Olympic platforms, turf, and even BENCH racks. Yes, smaller racks for benching with safeties (these are hard to come across).

This is an amazing gym. Randy was exceptionally helpful upon arrival! They have everything you need for a hood workout. I travel a lot and have to say this has been my best experience for first impressions. Thank you so much!

This place is like stepping back into 1985. Bunch of worn in red leather equipment. Beat up plates and dumbbells. Old fashioned rusty squat racks. Chalky deadlift stations. It’s amazing. If you’re looking for a new aged gym with a built in spa, where a bunch of “fitness influencers” are posing for Instagram then this isn’t for you. If you’re looking to get a great pump, throw some heavy stuff around, and not be bothered by anyone for a couple hours then check it out. Every machine imaginable as well. Including some that I’ve never seen at another gym. This place is a hidden gem.

A gym that has what you need and doesn't have what you dont need. Doesn't pretend to be an exclusive fitness club, nor does it market itself as selling a B.S. lifestyle. I go in, do my lifting with no friction from the other members or staff (who are all genuinely nice and don't feel like salesmen trying to get you into a new car), and leave. This is a gym for people who are solely interested in lifting and fitness and its awesome.
