Overall pretty good, but there is a lot of soap build up in the detergent trays and under the machine doors. Plus a lot of washers were out of service.

My friend recommended Get the Funk Out after my washing machine broke.I cannot say enough about this place!It was clean, employees were friendly and helpful and most of the machines were working.The Owner/ Manager was just awesome too!! I would not have had such a good experience without her help .Starting with her beautiful smile, friendly demeanor and professional appearance she selected the right machines, carried my heavy baskets from the car , added the correct amounts of detergent,showed me how to use a credit card to pay for a wash , ( who knew) and made change for the dryers .She even calculated how long to run the dryer for the PERFECT results.She was not only great with me but with all the others who" looked lost". She knows her employees and her machines well and I think she even drives the van to pickup and deliver laundry.!She and her staff are a real asset to the URIcommercial community.Thank you allElizabeth

I have been using this laundromat for 27 years. When I walked in this morning, I was greeted by an elderly man and a woman who I have never seen before. They were very disrespectful and rude and asked me why I was there. I said I'm washing my throw rug.She said "oh I don't think you can wash that here". I explained that I've been doing my mats here for many years and I live in Kingston. I went out to my car to get my soap. When I came back she said "sorry we're not going to let you wash that here".I put my rug in my car and drove to Pier Cleaner. They were helpful and showed me which machine to use.I explained I was a local. I guess the new owners of Get the Funk Out do not take into consideration local people and do not need our business. It's for out of state URI. NOT FOR THE LOCAL buisness.

I really appreciated the helpful and friendly service all the workers gave us during our time there. Very nice people and machines that worked well. Would recommend this quaint place.

My new laundromat! I appreciate the range of services you offer, and the staff was incredibly kind to me. I wish you were open later though, because my work schedule makes this inconvenient.

Every time I come here, there is a mother-daughter duo that are always hard at work! They are so friendly and helpful every time as well. The machines are well-used so there are always some on the fritz or out of order, but that really is part of going to a laundromat. There are always plenty of other machines to choose from and if you ask they will tell you which machine they like best!

Laundry is fine. I put $5 into the change machine and it ate my money. I’ve filled out the contact form twice and called repeatedly, but have received no response. Nobody is at the desk to ask.

The change machine stole my money and never gave me quarters. Of course, there was no attendant working to ask for help.I wont be back.
