Terrible customer service and delivery service is not good. I've been waiting since Wednesday for a delivery and it was out for delivery Wednesday, and than at the end of the day they change the tracking for delivery on Thursday and was also out for delivery, but at the end of the day they change it again to Friday. Today (Friday) i called and i spoke with 6 agents, with the supervisor, and every time I call they give me a different time frame. So now, i have no idea if I'm going to get my package delivered today or whatever they want.Besides that a rude customer service as well.

I've never actually used this business. However I wouldn't ever ! One of their drivers just pulled the truck and trailer in front of three vehicles on 116 a 50 mile an hour road all 3 vehicles had to make an abrupt stop to avoid plowing into his trailer. 2 of the 3 vehicles nearly rear ended one another. I understand much of this business is run on timing but at what cost to the public ?

I wish there was an option to give zero stars. This company damages and destroys shipments each and every day. Avoid at all costs. Its worth paying a couple more bucks to XPO or R&L LTL trucking companies to ensure your shipment gets to the destination in good condition. I can really describe how bad this company is.

unique way of doing business. they don't stick to the time frame of delivery so you might as well take the entire day of work off! Over the delivery week I spoke with 3 dispatchers to be sure the driver calls me while in route to the house, all said no problem, did I get a call beforehand hell no. Once the driver opened the trailer he said you might want to look at this, a 1500. gun safe completely destroyed, massive dents, scratches all over, pallet destroyEd, and nothing left of the shipping cardboard. What moron would even load this on the truck? Were they hoping I wouldn't notice, either way I refused delivery. I'm sure the manufacturer will be real happy once they receive there beat up safe. Very disappointed Central Transport wasn't smart enough to inform me of the damaged freight and save me a lost day of work!

Delivered a broken zero turnlawn mower from home depot. The lawn mower wheel was bent and tore up pallet broke. The guy couldn't get it back on the truck and was supposed to send a forklift out. it's in the middle of my driveway. I CANNOT GET OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY. Got off the phone this morning they said they should of took it when they left, even though he couldn't move it. That there's nothing they can do call home depot.

Quite possibly the least communicative LTL shipping company around.Despite their "29 Minutes or Less" motto for customer support, what they failed to mention is that the response given is lacking in information, incredibly. Customer support doesn't seem to know where a shipment is, when it will arrive, and it is now almost two and a half weeks late.When it did arrive the first time around, drivers refused to call both numbers listed for contact, did not call 10 minutes ahead of arrival, and refused to wait for someone to get out of the building to help them unload, leaving before anyone could get on the forklift.With the utter lack of transparency about delivery time, or date, how is someone supposed to run a business, while expecting a shipment?We will never again go with Central Transport.

Waiting 2 weeks and counting for shipment out of Illionois to RI . No one ever picks up phone at local terminal. Only way to communicate is on line with emails to customer service. Online tracing is inaccurate. Incorrect delivery dates given. Only reason they got even one star is that their rates are rock bottom. You get what you pay for!

Low cost? Maybe on their quote, but not on their value. Even if they were free, you may find them too expensive as we did. We had four pallets (two different shipments) to be picked up on a Friday afternoon -- three pallets to NJ port for onward forwarding to Europe and one pallet to Pennsylvania. Apparently, the only driver at the depot at that time wanted to leave early that day and used every excuse why he couldn't pick us up. Elvis, the manager, was able to "persuade" him to make the pickup. When the driver finally arrived in the very late afternoon, he was not happy and obviously rushed to get out of there. The bottom line is that he somehow mixed up the stickers so that of the three pallets intended to go to the NJ, only two made it there. The 3rd went to PA. And the pallet intended to go to PA, went to NJ and wound up in Europe with the other two. What a mess!
