This had to be the LOUDEST library I've ever been to. I left because the staff were so loud, I couldn't focus on my work. My 1st time coming here & my last. It's small & clean, but too loud.

Terrible place. These people don't like me. They literally logged off my computer when I was in the bathroom, as I was writing some legal documents, then the woman at the computer desk harasses mw and states that shw knows it's important information. This was after some woman that use to harass me while I was volunteering for VITA shows up, after I get a text message, asking me if I was one of the female tax preparers. And as I'm leaving, where the older white woman was adamant about doing everything against my request, is talking to some gentleman that was making the same gesture as I had done after seeing my computer, after it was shut down. This is truly insane, it's ongoing because the first time that I visited the library some crazy family was eyeing me as though I had done something to them.

This afternoon we watched the once in a generation solar eclipse with our daughter at the library.
Kudos to Lincoln Public Library for the solar eclipse glasses, eclipse cookies, and eclipse art and crafts. Our public libraries build community through education.
The librarians staffing the event were delightful. It was well planned and organized.
Another great reason to support our public libraries.

I had an interesting experience to say the least. The staff were helpful, but had a disrespectful attitude and overall seemed like they had a great disdain toward anyone daring to speak to them. I was met with some extraordinarily disrespectful interactions, and felt as though I was being treated as an imbecile. Their attitudes very much gave off an "Are you stupid?" vibe, but as I had not been there before I had no choice but to endure this to get assistance. I felt as though I was expected to know these things although I was in an unfamiliar territory--although I do understand that they have no way of knowing this, I believe that it doesn't excuse how they treated me. As for the library itself, it was very nice. Small, but homey, and had a decent selection. It was very quiet when I went, but overall had a pleasant feel. Despite this, I regret to say that I will not be returning. It's a shame, all the past reviews seem to be very positive. They must've let themselves go.

Respect your local library! Besides books they have audio books, a big dvd collection, video games for all major consoles, even rentable Wi-Fi hotspots.
