Truly the worst experience that a human being can have with a company. Wish I could give negative stars. Troubleshooting anything usually results in dozens of dropped calls—if you need to downgrade or cancel service, it’s even worse. Choose ANY other company.

*Proceed With Caution*
People who work there are nice and try to be helpful but the billing is an absolute nightmare.
I canceled and got a prorated bill but then I got another bill the next month for no reason.
I called my credit card to dispute the charge and remove it which they did but cox came back saying that I had to pay for "the final payment" and blamed my credit card company for removing the last monthly bill which I shouldn't have had to pay in the first place.
I started being spammed by Cox so I called customer service and they wouldn't budge.
When I went to this store, they said that I had to pay in the store, cash or check, for this "final payment" which I just paid just to avoid being spammed and harassed by their billing/collections for something which shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Stay away from Cox if you can in the first place, you’ll save yourself the headache down the line.

I have called and called to try and resolve my billing dispute only to be bounced around repeatedly until one of them pretends to be about to solve the problem and simply hangs up. This customer service is comically ridiculous.

I went to return my modem today and I felt like the two men working there were very condescending. He asked me if I was moving and I said no. He asked me if I was switching over to T-Mobile and I said yes. He said their service isn't that greatwill be seeing you again. When I told him I was leaving because my bill went from $60 to $106 within three years he said that it was because I was on the highest Internet available. I told him I called Cox but I couldn't understand anything because their English was horrible. He then asked me if they speak English at T-Mobile. I said yes I walked into the store and they sent me right up. He said why didn't you walk into this store instead?
I didn't get treated like this at all at T-Mobile. The girl set me up and connected everything, even highlighting my admin id network ID and password so I could locate it easily.
These guys were like a couple of bullies, had no customer service skills whatsoever and seemed a little threatened that T-Mobile might be taking some of their business.
Their conversation with me even caught the attention of another customer and I'm sure they weren't impressed either.

I got assistance from Andrew. All was going well until we were trying to figure out my exact address. He then grabbed my phone from my hand and it spiraled down from there. He gave me my phone back like it was nothing. He did it the second time and I told him it was not cool. We then proceeded to look for the plans and when I told him that the prices were a bit too high, he grabbed the post it I wrote my email on handed it to me and simply said “here you go.” I thought he was going to talk to a manager but he just stared at me. I found it rude and disrespectful. It would have been better if he said “sorry we could not go down on price.” Andrew is straight up rude.

My kids fathers grandmother died and the grandmother's son came down from Maine to collect her ashes so he's here for a little while... The house isn't his yet through the courts and we have been here almost two years taking care of his mother before she passed away.. last night I got into a fight with him before work & he got mad because I wouldn't share my wifi password seeing im the one that's going to be paying the electricity and that no one is helpful no me pay my cox bill so no no one is getting my password... He then goes to call the Middletown RI store while I was working and they told him to have his brother take my box and drop it off at there store location! How dare cox do that ? that box will NEVER be returned because that's how the uncles brother is & now this is going to effect my credit? Corporate told me this is a $240 box & to make a police report so this is exactly what Im going to do.

Horrible! They lie about pricing, said 35$ for internet then bill comes in at over 60$. Try to cancel over the phone. Impossible. Have to go to this place to turn in unopened package What a Joke. After waiting for a ridiculous amount of time. I finally am able to return the package and cancel. Only to find they charged for the first month already. But apparently it will be waved because Ive never had it installed or used it. Do your self a favor and stay away from cox. Anything else has to be better

Was there with a friend who is a Senior Citizen and needed help with his service. He was treated rudely by a Male worker who could have helped him but just gave him a number to call instead.
