Place looks incredible now that it’s redone. Friendly staff super helpful, brought my dog in to check out some gear and guy who runs it Cheyne was really helpful and it was nice to walk in with your pet and know he’s welcome too! I would def recommend stopping in for anything skate related and surf.

I have been searching for a place to rent Windsurfing equipment. I found Island Surf. I tried to email questions and got no response. When I called they were really responsive. They had the instructor call me. He called with 10 minutes. He asked a lot of questions about my daughters skill level. He offered multiple appointments to me. He told me to call his cell if I ran into any issues. He texted me when he arrived. I can't say enough good things about his professionalism. He was fabulous. My daughter had an unbelievable experience. I would highly recommend this group.

Great value. But it can be , essentially, little more than a rental. I think the lesson aspect is geared more to children than adults. The teachers are very young. They will help you, but you must seek it out. Their attention is mostly on the children and talking to each other. The instructions are unstructured, so that each teacher is saying different things, and it can be confusing. Two of the three instructors seemed engaged, but one seemed like he just wanted to talk to and be near the girl instructor, which then took away from her availability. Overall, still a great value, especially if you don't need a lesson.

The guys at Elemental were exceptionally helpful setting up my son with a new deck/trucks/bearings/wheel package for park riding. Extremely knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Will return without hesitation.

Some real nice folks work here but their surf report is a pathetic joke! It is virtually never up to date and the info when it is there at all is minimal. Call Sid for a real surf report.

What you would expect for a skate shop. Decent selection of boards and skate shoes from Nike, adidas, Vans, Emerica and Supra. Not a great amount of trucks/hardware but good enough it seemed. Also has clothes, sunglasses and hats etc but I didn't really check them out too much. Prices were reasonable, my son bought a pair of Vans Half Cabs for $65. Name brand decks are $50-55, shop boards $40. There are also some longboards for anyone who cares as well as surfboards and etc upstairs and even more across the street. Its the closest shop to the first beach skatepark, which seems to be one of the only parks around. Prices and selection are good and i would recommend it.
