The ladies at this nail salon quite literally saved my wedding day. I was in Middletown from out of state for my wedding weekend, and I was having an allergic reaction to a gel manicure I had gotten back home. I called the Nail Files and an angel named Renée answered. She told me to come right in and she would fit me in immediately. She was so kind, gentle, and thorough, and took her time to carefully remove the gel and save my nails. I was a stressed out bride having a breakdown and she absolutely saved me from disaster!!! I will now be taking the 45 minute drive just to come here. Everyone who works here is just excellent, and I cannot recommend this place enough!Service: Polish removal

Absolutely love The Nail Files! They are so friendly and welcoming, not only did I get my nails done, I got a hot neck wrap and my wedding rings cleaned lol. Renee is wonderful and absolutely does a phenomenal job, love her! Highly recommend!

Got an amazing gel manicure/pedicure from Renee and all the ladies there are super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! -Update- Barely 24 hrs later and I already have chipping on one nail and I’ve babied my hands since getting this done- wanted to love this because the ladies were so nice and definitely took their time trying to give a quality job but I’m disappointed and now have to find a fix asap before I leave for a trip in 4 days- other things to be aware of, only have 1 working massage chair (they say they are getting new ones, time will tell, they only opened in the beginning of this year… In terms of hygiene protocols they certainly seem to make an effort but what I experienced were some of the most lax protocols I’ve seen in any nail salon before….(foot tubs aren’t even lined, some tools are reused and everything is just hand sprayed with a disinfectant rather than placed in an autoclave for full sterilization) On the upside, one of the most relaxing foot/hand massages and welcoming atmosphere. I hope with more experience/business cash flow this place improves as its in such a great location but there is a lot of room for improvement here.Services: Hand & foot massages

Unfortunately very disappointed .Two of us booked together for a special nail appointment before a special occasion. We booked together purposely to be seen at the same time. One of us was taken on time, my technician unfortunately was behind 90 minutes so I was unable to get my nails done. They took money off of the first appointment but I think a 90 minute wait is excessive. This appointment was before a special occasion and I could not wait because of other obligations. Very unprofessional and ruined what was supposed to be a special appointment for a special occasion. This was my 3rd time at this salon and my last. The other appointment went well, they were satisfied but it was no frills just the nails and polish. I understand sometimes we run late, but not 90 minutes late, that is unacceptable. The other appointment had time to start and finish their entire appointment with a full set of nails before my technician was even ready. Very disappointed.

First visit and I loved it. My nails have never looked better and all the staff are friendly, professional and caring. Please next time you need you nails, piggies or eye brows done definitely give them a try. The heated weighted warm neck accessory tops the whole visit worthwhile!Services: Pedicure

One of the best experiences I've had at a nail salon! The staff is so friendly and kept great conversation. Service was great, the salon was clean and smelt so nice when you first walk in, and the music playlist was on point. So sad that I'm not a permanent resident or else this would be my routine spot! I absolutely love how my nails came out. All of their products smelt amazing and left my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. Definitely recommend!!!Services: Nail painting

Went for the first time yesterday and will definitely be going back!! Loved the small salon atmosphere and they did a METICULOUS job on my pedicure. Pleasant friendly staff and for those complaining about the chairs and decor, they are fairly new owners and plan to spruce it up in the fall/winter. Only $35 for a classic pedicure that includes sugar scrub, mud, lotion and massage. This easily costs $55 and up elsewhere. a I highly recommend you give them a try!

Such an amazing experience! It was my first time getting an acrylic set and Anajae was incredible and so kind! I got an express pedicure as well which was a great add on. I’ve been to a handful of salons in the area, and this was by far the best experience I have had somewhere! Couldn’t recommend more :) :)Services: Nail extensions
