Great buying experience at Hyundai Newport! Although they didnt have the exact package and color that we wanted in stock, they found it in a day and had it delivered! Bill was the salesman, unbelievably patient, knowledgable, and good humored, never pushed and even suggested we consider the less expensive options, unlike most salesmen who push the other way. Facility is brand new, state of the art, and Hyundai offers the best warranty in the book and their styling is out front of other brands.

Hyundai of Newport is excellent. Welcoming, not pushy at all. Reviewed numerous models and option levels. Never rushed. Tony in sales and John in management were fantastic and would highly recommend them, already have.

Came in for an inspection but it failed because I didn’t have plates yet (which makes sense). They told me to come back when I have my plates and get the sticker. When I came back after getting my plates I was told that they didn’t have time and today schedule an appointment so that’s what I did. I called day-of to confirm the appointment and the same representative had to put it in the schedule because he didn’t do so the week before ( good thing I checked).When I show up I told them I was there to get my sticker and I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. They said I made the mistake and that I needed to pay for another inspection at some later time (the state sent me a letter saying I needed this done now). They asked me for my registration which I don’t receive until the inspection is completed. After going back-and-forth for twenty minutes and getting increasingly frustrated they finally agreed to plug my car in again and it took like two minutes to complete the process and be on my way.Try treating your customers with respect for their time and money.

Very unprofessional, very little knowledge of car inventory.My girlfriend and I are looking for a car. She spoke to someone on the phone this morning to see if they had a specific car in stock. She was assured it was here. Drove from Providence to see it…and the car wasn’t here. Still looking for a car. If anyone knows of a car lot with actual cars on it, please let me know.

We will be driving back to Florida after July 4th. Arrived at the dealership at 7:35 AM . No other vehicles waiting in line. We are having an electrical problem with our new 2023 Tucson’s radio and Navigation system, screen also gets hot to touch, willing to wait to have it checked out! Was told by Paul, that the earliest appt would be 10 July. Called Tarbox Hyundai, was told to bring it right in!!! Within 45 minutes of arriving the car is being seen by a technician. Great job! Impressive Dealership!! Thank you Tarbox Hyundai.

Heads up for new car owners. The service department resets the default service interval from 7500 miles to 3700 miles so that you are led to believe that you need to bring your car in for oil changes at twice the manufacturer's recommended frequency. The argument is that the car is being driven under extremely harsh conditions (as was stated by a service department representative). Oil changes every 7500 miles up to 30000 are complimentary. Any others you have to pay for. Car was in for an oil change at 21775 miles. Photo shows due for an oil change at 25400 miles, 3625 mile interval.

As their very first customer at their new location this morning, I had a nail stuck in my tire and a 200+ mile trip ahead of me. The new facility is nice, but not completely finished, so naturally there was a bit of chaos in the air early on a Monday morning. But despite that, everyone was so kind. My tire was fixed for free in less than 15 minutes, and I was on my way. This is a good dealership. They care how they're perceived and how you're treated.

Service was great and smooth. They moved things along as fast as they could and even called back when they needed information rather than waiting for you to notice its been to long and have you call.Overall amazing service, 10/10 would recommend.

Bought my car from Newport Hyundai and had them service it regularly (long work commute) when I lived on the island. JR and the rest of his service reps are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Most importantly they don’t upsell you. The only bad thing is the mark-up on parts but that’s standard for dealerships. Overall I’ve never had any bad experiences with them. Given the stigma of dealership shops these days, they are definitely one of the good ones.

My only concern was with the salesman, he was nice but seemed to be a little behind - as if he were new to the job. I knew what I wanted when I came in so there wasn't much to do with selling me on the car. Finance was a breeze, in and out. I just signed and drove off! I think it took longer for the plate to be transferred from my trade to my new vehicle. I am excited to see the new facility in April.
