The new facility is beautiful and spacious but with the same welcoming atmosphere as always. Doctor Maher is kind, professional and answers all questions no matter how big or small. He’s been my Orthopedist since 1984 and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I never write reviews, but my experience with University Orthopedics—specifically Dr. Maher—was frustrating enough that I feel obligated to warn others. From the start, there was a clear lack of care or concern from both the doctor and the staff. Dr. Maher seemed rushed, uninterested, and barely listened to what I was saying. I didn’t feel like a patient; I felt like a number on a checklist.
The overall practice was no better. Communication was poor, the only follow-up was asking for my health insurance information MULTIPLE TIMES which was very annoying. I had to chase them for updates or basic information. It’s incredibly disappointing to deal with a medical office that treats you like an inconvenience rather than someone seeking help.
If you’re looking for compassion, effort, or even just basic professionalism, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This place made me feel worse, not better.
