Very knowledgeable, good service. Chris plugged my tire for me 2 years ago. It's still on the road. They also pulled out something I ran over and didn't charge me.

They did not have time for me, but they made time and that made all the difference I am extremely grateful. I have not had good luck with mechanics on the island so far, but I am definitely going back to Johnny’s.

On vacation and got a screw in my tire when i was an hour from arrival in RI. I brought it to the only tire place open on a late Saturday afternoon. They couldn't repair the tire and would have sold me a tire if they had 1 in stock. I saw reveiws for this place which was across from where i was. I came to Johnny's first thing Monday morning and they fixed the tire right away and had me on my way back to NY state within 10 min. It was like my own pit crew. They gave me the screw back as a souvenir. Way cheaper than a new tire. Fantastic place.

I've been going to Johnny's for a few years. Just yesterday I went elsewhere spur of the moment for a simple oil change and left with my check engine light on and a stalling car. I am so grateful to have gone to Johnny's today where I was quickly accommodated. Andrew quickly fixed the issue that suddenly appeared after an oil change, getting me back safely on the road. He is a genuine, honest person. I won't be going anywhere else again.

not much negative to say about Johnny's. From first contact at the service desk, right on through the process, you are informed of any issues that may not have been expected and informed of cost and anything needing immediate attention. Johnny's truly is a full service station, from pumping your fuel, to checking the air in your tires. However due to the stations very high volume, you need to prepare for appointments to be booked up to 3 wks out.to sum it up:Quality of the work performed is the best you'll find on the island. Their undeniable fair pricing is obvious. Staff is courteous, professional and obviously highly skilled.I think you all get the point.

Pros: They allowed me to source certain parts needed for inspection and I love Maralee who works the front desk.Cons: They gave me the car back with the original engine failure issue but claimed it was fixed even though the car died in their possession upon testing, but told me it was fixed despite them having done nothing else to try to troubleshoot or fix the problem after having had the car for over a week. I dropped it off asking them to fix the cold start issue and when I got the car back and tried to start today, the car was as bad as before dropping it off. It died almost immediately. When I dropped it off I told them the car died every cold start and runs rich, and when I read the bill, they claimed it was an "intermittent issue" that still "might be intermittent". Not true. I told them what had been happening for the last month and it's not an intermittent issue and it always has been running rich and dying on cold starts but they didn't give me any time when I wanted to discuss further diagnostics instead of picking up my broken car as is for a hefty bill.Very disappointing first impression. I will not be a returning customer.

Andrew had his great mechanics replace the rear brakes and a CV Axel on my wifes 2015 Subaru Outback. They used quality parts, and the price was reasonable. It takes a while to get an appointment but that is a good indicator of a quality shop with loyal customers.

Terrible service.... they couldn't even plug a tire correctly. When I went back to let them make it right they told me no and then tried to sell me a tire. Chris is a swindler that thinks he knows it all and will tell you whatever you want to hear. Wish I could give zero stars.
