I’ve been coming to this location almost every day for several years now. Matt and John were the best Cumberland Farms employees I had ever met. They were so friendly and willing to help. It appears that they might no longer work here, which is unfortunate, because the new staff is surprisingly the complete opposite. Arlene is extremely rude and makes it a point to let you know that you are inconveniencing her, especially when you order any of the hot foods to be made. The other new staff are fine, just extremely slow, and they are left to run the store in the evening by themselves and have no clue how to find things in the POS system. I feel bad for them, but management shouldn’t be leaving them all on their own with such minimal training. It takes them at least 10 minutes to clear a line of three people, and I’ve experienced this myself the last several days.

I went in to get 2 sandwiches. The guy that has a limp said yes there was 2 bacons in there. I try to ring out. The guy at the cash register asked him if there was 2 bacon. And the guy that just put the sandwiches said he didn’t know. Then I go to grab a sandwich. There was only 1 friggin sandwich. So they wasted my time. I have to go to another store with competent employer whom actually cares about their customers. I will not go back there for food as I see the same person reusing food prep gloves that are only for one use to stop the spread of germs. Might as well not even use gloves.

Just love my Cumberland Farms... staff is friendly and fast, even in the challenging multitasking environment. Customers are understanding and polite given the new norm, constant staffing challenges. Love the coffee and how can you beat 99 cents!!!! Farmhouse Columbian Bold is my favorite and I enjoy it 7 days a week, morning, noon and night, it's always fresh. Gas, Lottery, best cigarette prices around and coffee, coffee, coffee... Thank Cumbies you have been doing it right for a long time and I love your Boston Neck Rd. Narragansett Location the best!!!
