Scarborough State Beach is a popular and well-maintained beach destination in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Visitors praise the clean facilities, great water quality, and reasonable prices. The beach can get quite crowded, especially during peak times, but beachgoers are generally courteous and respectful. The demographic tends to be a mix of young families and older adults, unlike the younger crowd at nearby Narragansett Beach. While the water can be rocky at low tide, the overall experience is positive, with visitors enjoying the scenic setting and convenient amenities like the Salty's snack bar. However, after-hours visitors should be aware of potential odor issues near the ruins and plan accordingly.

Sandy Beach, not too busy during the week. Plenty of parking, has a restroom onsite and a concession stand if you didn't bring any snacks. Has a nice grassy area beyond the beach where we played whiffle ball and games. People setup tents and grills for the day.
