I’ve been going here for a couple years cause I like the “mom and pop shop” vibe. However, 3 out of 4 of the oil changes they’ve done, they OVERFILLED the oil level, (car says “Please drain oil”) leading to multiple issues to arise from this problem. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here again due to their consistent inability to properly perform an oil change. I simply cannot continue trusting them to do it right.

I have a 1986 Mercury Sable that had multiple problems including electrical issues. 8 different problems. These guys solved all the issues I had with my car. Nobody else could figure out how to solve all these issues. When they guickly completed the repairs they delivered my car to my home. Nobody does this kind of service. These are the guys you can depend on to do what ever it takes to get you going. They took the time to source the parts as this was an older car with very low miles. 5 Stars. Extremely Professional !!!!

I was ripped off for $2200.00 for brake lines and fuel pump. I called to contact the owner I told him my brakes were not working because he put used brake lines and a used fuel pump he used from the junk yard the car was unable to read the gas properly and the car ran out of gas reading a quarter tank died while I was operating the vehicle the the brakes were mushy as well I called and complained the owner called the cops and gave me a no trespassing I had to take my car somewhere else to have it fixed again costing me more money

An amazing, honest and caring mechanic! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
On our trip up to Newport, we ended with engine troubles and decided to stop and have a Honda dealership look at it. Long story short, they came back with a $3,500 repair and many urgent issues that needed to be addressed. After declining the majority of these, we decided to only replace the engine air intake rubber boot (a hose with 2 clamps), which took at total of 6 hours to complete. We continued our trip north, but were rattled and nervous, because the check engine light came on again, plus one of the urgent issues according to Honda was our breaks. So we decided to take our car to a local mechanic once we got to Newport. We chose B&C and went first thing in the morning. Billy’s shop was humming like a beehive, and even though we had no appointment, Billy pulled a mechanic and started work on our car immediately after we told him our story. We waited for 2 hours while he addressed all our concerns and looked at all the claimed “urgent” issues by Honda. Billy even had his mechanic take off the wheels to check for faulty brakes. They were fine, which I figured, because the car had just passed the state’s mandatory safety inspection a week earlier! All in all, B&C charged a fraction of what Honda would have charged and gave us peace of mind. 600 miles later, still no issues! They fixed it! But what I also want to tell you is that while I sat in the waiting room, I had a chance to observe Billy and his interactions with staff and customers. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, incredibly had working and always had the best interest of his customers in mind. He knew what he was doing, never oversold, and was mindful and budget friendly. Amazing shop, amazing man! The crew worked very hard and with Billy’s direction, his wealth of experience and knowledge, things moved swiftly and efficiently. I am so grateful I took my car to B&C. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this shop. I only wish B&C would locate to my hometown! Thank you Billy and crew!

I showed up about one half hour before closing with a battery thar wouldn't hold a charge. They ordered a battery and installed it in about 30 minutes. Fast and efficient service.

B&C was very accommodating to squeeze me in for an oil change. I anticipated the cost for oil, oil filter, and labor.
My only gripe is that in addition to the oil/oil filter services, they changed my air filter and cabin air filter without consulting with me first… it added an extra $55 to $60 bucks to my invoice, which I didn’t plan for at the time. I wish they would’ve asked me before taking it upon themselves to change those two filters…
