No public restroom, just a bunch of modern but old looking shops and really overpriced restaurants. Not the best experience. I don't want to come back here ever again to be

Bannister's Wharf is Newport's old commercial seaport. It now offers a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and accommodations. Located right on the Harbor.

Great place to stay to enjoy Newport on the weekend. Parking, centrally located, and excellent service. Make sure you take advantage of enjoying a beautiful sunset sitting out on the pier!

Lots of different Shops, like North sails Collection, Upperdeck Clothing, the Black Dog, Newport Mansion Store, Onne van der Wal, Gallery and many more. And a great selection of Restaurants, like the Black Pearl, Clark Cook house, The Lobster Bar, and many more. Outdoor dining in summer available. Also has a public restroom.

Beautiful wharf with tons of shopping and restaurants. Give yourself at least an hour for poking around and taking pictures - very photogenic. We enjoyed the Black Pearl for lunch. A friend who lives in town recommended staying here in off season when they have reasonable rates. Parking, however, can be horrendous, so come early and save yourself 20 minutes of trolling for a space.

A super spot to dock your boat and immediately be in the heart of Newport's action.

Celebrated my 30th birthday staying here this weekend and loved every single bit! Being right on the water above a coffee shop was such a treat. Kelly helped my mom plan this and it was so memorable with great recommendations, thank you!! We cannot wait to come back ?

A lot going on. Fun place. Food, shop and take in the action. We found ourselves here several times during our Newport stay.

A little tourist trappy for my taste, but it was definitely a great spot to get some eats, shop, and then grab some drinks!

Such a cool spot! The rooms are just fine but the views and location can't be beat. We watched the sunset from the Adirondacks down the dock next to the yachts. There were two kids running the show down there and they made our stay a 5 star experience. So kind and fun. Would recommend this place to anyone who prioritizes location and a great experience over luxury amenities!

The rooms are old &run down.Door is difficult to open, bathroom, old, faucets old, sink, filthy. The window has scotch tape trying to keep cold air out.All of the baseboards are filthy, beds are old, bumpy mattress - no sleep. Non existent maid service,. Not a modern room for today's phones, computers etc. Goes on and on --- the boards are rotting, the deck boards are rotting and coming up.On & on - if Bannisters was the last room, I would move on.It's a pc of garbage, at 300.00 a night it's a joke. Don't even think of staying there - we will never be back - it's dangers.
